Episode 3



Seung Hyun p.o.v:
New day for today...
Here I am, being a good boy again...coming to Ms Song house early.
While waiting for her to get ready for school, I lean my back at the side of the car.
I keep on looking at my watch.
But after awhile, she comes out from the house. I quickly open the passenger seat for her to step in.
She is slowly walking towards the door.
It has been two weeks already and yes, to be believe, I am still here.
Yes!! I am still here as her personal driver.
I don’t know why that I am still in one shape and why do I feel like I’m enjoying being her personal driver?
It has been two week has past and slowly I know her....with the help of someone of course.
I have known that she has problems with her legs, but I don’t know since when.
“Ah...Ms Song...where are your....”
I couldn’t finish my sentence when she gives me the stares.
It stuns me, just like that.
“What is that you want to say? Why stop talking?!!” – Bae Yong.
“It’s just....I....”
Why couldn’t I finish my sentence every time I’m with her?
But with the others, I wouldn’t be like this.
“If you keep on minding my business, I swear you will be saying goodbye to your job.” – Bae Yong.
“Ah...no!! Don’t.....”

“My apologizes, Ms Song...” – Seung Hyun, bowing formally at Bae Yong showing his respect to his boss.
“Today...I want to go somewhere else. I don’t feel to attend my College today.” – Bae Yong, then she enters the car. Seung Hyun just nodded.
“Yes, Ms Song.” – Seung Hyun, he has to obey her. He has no choice.



Meanwhile... –


“*laughing* Seriously?!! Why would you do that, Tae Yang?” – Ji Yong, enjoying laughing at Tae Yang.
“Shut it, GD...NOW!! Why do you have to embarrass me by laughing so hard?” – Tae Yang, shove Ji Yong arm really hard.
“Ouch!! What did ya do that foh? That hurt, ya know?!!” – Ji Yong, with his hiphop slang.
“Whatever!! I am so going to heading to class or else you will make us late again, like every time. Seriously, both of us have the worst records ever for being tardy!!” – Tae Yang, walk away leaving Ji Yong behind.
“Yah!! Wait for me mah brother...” – Ji Yong, running towards Tae Yang.
“Shut up Ji!!” – Tae Yang, angry at Ji Yong and totally ignoring him.



At Music’s class... –

Tae Yang has been wondering and day dreamt since he enters the class.
Ji Yong who sits next to him aware of his neighbor next door mind is not there.
He keeps on calling Tae Yang name but there is no use.



Tae Yang p.o.v:
Daydreaming*
I wonder where Bae Yong is at...
I wonder why she isn’t attending the class today.
Is she sick or what?
Hmm...sigh....
Why is this class taking so long to end?
It is so bored.
I wish the class ended like...now.
I feel so droopy...
Sigh...
“Hey Tae Yang!!” – Ji Yong.
Hmm...I think I just hear someone’s calling my name...I wonder who.
Wait....
Back to reality*
“Huh?!!”
I look around...then when I turn my head to the right, Ji Yong is staring at me like he is going to eat me.
“What in particular mind where you thinking?!! I have been wasted my spit calling your name.” – Ji Yong
“Huh? What?!!”
“Whaveter...sheesh.” – Ji Yong.
Wait...first of all, why in the world I’m thinking about her?
Beside, that...whoever name is somehow rude the others day, probably tailing her.

Inside the car’s... –


“Hey....Seung Hyun.” – Bae Yong, soft tone.
“Yes, Ms Song?” – Seung Hyun.
“Why do you agreed in doing this in the first place?” – Bae Yong.
“Actually, I never was agreed in doing this, but my father has the agreement with Mr Song and I didn’t even know my father was putting me in this.” – Seung Hyun.
“Why? Why are you still here until now?” – Bae Yong.
“Well at first...I never wanted to be here and felt like quitting it immediately at that time. But then, to think of it, I shouldn’t.” – Seung Hyun.
“Quit now.” – Bae Yong.
“Huh? I don’t understand...but what is the reason for me to quit?” – Seung Hyun.
“For the 51st personal driver my father hired, it is worst already.” – Bae Yong.
“For me...that wouldn’t be the strong reason for me to quit. I will stay as your personal driver even if I am the 51st or maybe will be the last.” – Seung Hyun.
“Stop here!!” – Bae Yong.
“Eh? No...Why?!!” – Seung Hyun.
“I meant is, when I say stop, then stop!!” – Bae Yong.


Bae Yong has given the order and Seung Hyun has no choice but to stop the car.
Quickly, Bae Yong step out from the car and walk away.
Not long, Seung Hyun came out and catches up with Bae Yong.
He grabs her hand and she stops moving.


“What is wrong with you? It is dangerous for you to go alone by yourself. Quick, get back in the car.” – Seung Hyun, holding Bae Yong right hand wrist tightly.
“Let go!! This is none of your business for me to go anywhere. I don’t need permission from you!! Go and leave, NOW!!” – Bae Yong.
“Don’t be such stubborn one, Bae Yong. I am not going to leave you here alone. I meant it, Bae Yong.” – Seung Hyun, for the first time he addresses his boss as her name and not surname.


When he said her name, she stops moving.
For the whole minute, there are no words coming from their mouth.
It was silent.
Until, Bae Yong herself breaks the silent.


“What did you just call me?” – Bae Yong.
“Your name, Bae Yong.” – Seung Hyun. She turns around and pushes him away then she walks off. Four step away from him; suddenly she falls down to the ground and hurt her knees.
“Ah...are you....” – Seung Hyun, as he is about to run towards her, he stops all of sudden.
“Don’t ever go near me, ever!! Leave now!!” – Bae Yong.
“Why? Why are you being like this?” – Seung Hyun.
“Just go!!” – Bae Yong, pointed her hand to the car without looking at him.
“I......” – Seung Hyun, stop moving.
“GO!!” – Bae Yong, her hand still pointed at the car.
“I just wanted to say...all these times I worked with you, I was not being myself. But then, you’re right. This job is never meant for me. And you are right as well, from the starts, I should have quit but no, I have told myself not to quit and try to take care of you. But I was wrong. And this will be my last day as your personal driver, Ms Song.” – Seung Hyun. He turns around and walks away from Bae Yong and head back to the car.


Truly, Seung Hyun mean at what he just said.
He really is leaving Bae Yong by herself and drove away while Bae Yong is still helpless in trying to standing up.


“Why being so ignorant? It will be easier if you do that from the starts and didn’t burden yourself because of me.” –Bae Yong, trying to stand up but she falls back again.


Bae Yong looks down at her both knees and both of them are bleeding.
Bae Yong’s smiles but then...Why does her tears flowing down through her cheeks?


“I aware...I aware very much.” – Bae Yong.
“How can I ever leave you here alone when I have promised myself that I will take care of you even every time I only hurt myself...” – Seung Hyun, appear in front of Bae Yong. He has return. Slowly he squat down with one knees touching the ground.
“Why are you being such.....” – Bae Yong, this time she couldn’t finish her sentence when Seung Hyun interrupt her talking.
“This time, I won’t let you talk. Just for once, listen to other at what they are going to say.” – Seung Hyun.


Seung Hyun didn’t care at what he will be facing next, he just want the best for his boss.
Directly, he lifts Bae Yong up and carries her back to the car.


“Ms Song...please forgives me for my rudeness if I ever have....” – Seung Hyun, didn’t finish his sentence when Bae Yong hit his head with her file lightly.
“Quit it!!” – Bae Yong.
“Huh?” – Seung Hyun, look up at Bae Yong.
“What are you doing? Are you going to drive me to somewhere or you wanted to give up this job?” – Bae Yong.


Seung Hyun smile but then Bae Yong turns her head the other way round.
But that still won’t stop making Seung Hyun smile.
As promised, he drives Bae Yong to somewhere and he wanted to surprise his boss.
After 30 minutes later, they have arrives at the destinations.


Somewhere... –


“Here we are, Ms Song....we have arrived.” – Seung Hyun.
“............What actually you are trying to show me here, Seung Hyun?” – Bae Yong. Seung Hyun just smiles then he step out from the car and open the door for Bae Yong.
“Come...I’ll show you.” – Seung Hyun, bend down showing his back at Bae Yong. “I’ll give you piggyback, Ms Song.”
“No...I don’t want to go.” – Bae Yong. Seung Hyun’s still in his position but his finger is giving a signal, pointing at his back.
“Please....?” – Seung Hyun.


Slowly, Bae Yong moves her hand towards Seung Hyun and she wraps her hands around his neck after that.
When Seung Hyun standing up giving Bae Yong piggyback, her face is closer with Seung Hyun’s.
Seung Hyun can feel his face touching Bae Yong’s and it gives him the warmth feeling.
He take her for a walk at the beach until they arrives at one spot.
He lowers his body and put her down to sit on the shores.
Seung Hyun starts to look around...somehow he is looking for something.
She just stares at him doing his thing.
After he has found it, he picks it up and gives it to Bae Yong.


“And why you gave me such things?” – Bae Yong, holding seashell that Seung Hyun gave to her just know.
“For you...” – Seung Hyun, smiles so warm at Bae Yong.
“Oh....” – Bae Yong, stare at the seashell emotionless.
“You....don’t like it, Ms Song?” – Seung Hyun.
“Why...did you return for me awhile ago?” – Bae Yong.
“.......That is because...I am Seung Hyun; your one and only personal driver.” – Seung Hyun.
“Why?” – Bae Yong.
“.............” – Seung Hyun.
“You never give up, do you?” – Bae Yong. “What makes you don’t want to give up?”
“I won’t and I will never. I will stay always as your personal driver. Because there is none other than you who I wanted to drive for.” – Seung Hyun.
“Even when I am married to someone, you will still be my driver?” – Bae Yong.
“............yes.” – Seung Hyun.
“Liar...” – Bae Yong, standing up directly but then she falls on Seung Hyun.
“I.....don’t know which is lie and which is true.”– Seung Hyun. “Whether I lied to myself or speak the truth, I don’t know either.”
“............” – Bae Yong.
“But then...I know that I never lied when I said I won’t quit being as your personal driver. Because....that is what I have chosen.” – Seung Hyun, lift Bae Yong as he hold both of his shoulders.


But then at what he sees in front of him, Bae Yong tears up.
Seung Hyun put his forehead on her right shoulder.


“Why....are you crying?” – Seung Hyun.
“Sooner or later, either you or I....one of us will be leaving each others soon.” – Bae Yong.
“..............” – Seung Hyun, smiling.



Can I always be at your side?
Even if one day...you are going to leave me?
But then...I will be there, wishing upon the stars and hoping for me to be there.
Please....
Wait for me...



“Don’t every....please, don’t love me.” – Bae Yong.
