Upon the Sky ... of sakura tree

Part 2


Lunch time... –


“Young Bae...do you want to have lunch together?” – Jae Yeon.
“Ahh, erm....well......no. I...need to go.” – Young Bae, stuttering. He kept on moving backward when Jae Yeon slowly move forwards to get closer to him. But he eventually run off from the class and head off to somewhere.


Young Bae runs to the school rooftop to meet someone there. And when he arrives at the rooftop, he quickly look for her and started to feel worried and thought that she might not come because she don’t know how to get to the rooftop but he’s wrong when he found her along the fence waiting. He started to feels relief that she is there, slowly he walks towards her.


“Ana...sorry I came late. I am surprised you came to the rooftop though.” – Young Bae.
“Erm, I have promised, so I can’t just break the promised like that. Beside, yes, I asked people around how to get to the rooftop. They seem so nice.” – Ana.
“They? Hmm...Never mind then. So have you had your lunch already?” – Young Bae. Ana shakes her head and Young Bae can hear her stomach grumbling. He starts to smirks and take out bread from his pocket. “How about we share this one then?”


For few seconds long, Ana stares at the bread Young Bae hold. Then she looks up to Young Bae and raises one of her eyebrows. Without wasting anymore time, Young Bae divides the bread into half of it and gives one half to Ana. She slowly takes the bread from his hand as he handed it out to her.



“Do you like this place so far, Ana?” – Young Bae. He turns his head towards Ana and watches her munching on the bread he gave slowly. He smirks just by watching it. Ana just nodded and continue eating her lunch. “Ana......since you come, I think my boredom will be gone if you’re around me now.”
“Thanks so much, Young Bae....for giving me half of the bread.” – Ana.
“No, don’t worry. You are welcome. Ahh, the recess time is nearly finish. Shall we go now?” – Young Bae. Again, Ana just nodded and they starts to move and return back to their own classes.



Later... –
At Tomohoshi’s residence... –
At Ana’s room... –


Ana fall asleep right after she come from the school and she is still in her school uniform. Whilst she fast asleep, quietly Jay come to check her up. Slowly, in a silent track, he moves forward and sits beside Ana on the bed.


“Miss Ana....” – Jay. He moves his hand towards Ana face and touches her cheeks gently. He kisses on her forehead before he left her room. Few minutes after he left, Ana wake up from her dream and touches her cheeks.
“I felt that someone has been here.” – Ana. She looks around but the only thing she see is no one.



On a fine day, while Young Bae is busy with his work his father gives him to do, he got a phone call from Jae Yeon that Seung Hyun is fighting with the other students from the other school. Young Bae quickly drops everything and rushing to the location of the fighting. When he arrives there, he found out Seung Hyun has defeated all of them yet he is injured as well.
Young Bae feels relief yet at the same time he is worried about him.


“Hey Seung Hyun....don’t you think it is time for you to stop doing this?” – Young Bae.
“........Nothing will can satisfy your self, ehh?” – Seung Hyun.
“Huh, what? I completely don’t understand this.” – Young Bae.
“You...Bae. It is great you get to have new friend, but you’re less hanging out with me anymore. Not like old times. I missed old times and I wished to go back to the old times where all of us still there; you, me and Ji Yong – us together.” – Seung Hyun.
“Hyeong, it has been a while already....he’s gone already and there is nothing we can do.” – Young Bae. His expressions changes when Seung Hyun brought up Ji Yong matter.
“Ahh, instead of him, why couldn’t I be in his place and he is in my place now?” – Seung Hyun. He starts to moves forward leaving Young Bae behind.
“Hyeong...” – Young Bae. He called Seung Hyun, but he seems don’t want to listen to anyone.
“....Just, leave me for now.” – Seung Hyun.
“Hyeong......” – Young Bae, whisper tone.



There is nothing left to wait for, so Young Bae decided to head back. On his way going back, someone or something follows him from behind but he didn’t aware of it until out of no where, so sudden someone taps on his shoulder from behind. In alert mode, he turns around with arms on like ready to fight. He is surprise that it is Jae Yeon who tapped his shoulders.


“Aish, you!! I was alerting for nothing. And what are you doing here?” – Young Bae.
“Bae-ahh, is Seung Hyun oppa, alright? I am very worried of him.” – Jae Yeon.
“Well, he is back to his moody self, well I guess he is alright.” – Young Bae.
“Oh my, oppa...” – Jae Yeon.
“Why don’t you go visit him, Yeon. He must be at the usual place now.” – Young Bae. Jae Yeon nodded and left after that, right after she is thanking Young Bae.
“Aish, that girl. She really concern about him, huh?!!” – Young Bae.



Young Bae continues again his walk as he is heading back, then suddenly, his cell phone ringing. As he look at his phone screen, Ana names lies there and quickly he pick it up. He seems very enthusiastic whenever he is around her or got a phone call from her.


“Ana?” – Young Bae, happy tone.
“Bae...!!” – Ana.
“Ana...Ana...!! Is there anything wrong? You sounded like panic.” – Young Bae.
“Erm, not really, actually. But, it is getting late and I am all alone now at home plus I made a strawberry pie and was wondering for you to come to have a little pie.” – Ana. She pauses for few seconds and Young Bae can hear her breathing through the phone. “.......Do you want to come?”
“Now? Hmm.......sure, wait for me in a few minutes, alright? And don’t go out, I might get worried. So just inside until I come there, alright?” – Young Bae.
“Yes, sure....please don’t come late, I hate the thoughts to be left alone.” – Ana.
“Alright, just....don’t go anywhere. Alright, I see you in few minutes.” – Young Bae. He hangs up on the phone and starts to speed up and run to Ana’s place.
“Sigh....even Jay isn’t here...I wonder where is everyone gone too...” – Ana. She put down her cell phone on the kitchen middle counter and walks to the glass door and standing right in front of it. She put her hand on the glass window while staring at the outside. “Bae....”



18 minutes later, Young Bae arrives at Ana’s place. And when he enters the kitchen, he found out Ana fall asleep as she lies her head on top of her arms on the kitchen counter. He shakes his head and walk towards Ana. Slowly she lifts her up and carries her by the thigh then slowly he brings her to room and put her to bed. When everything has settles, he sits down on the floor beside Ana and just gazes at her.


“You shouldn’t have waited for me, Ana.” – Young Bae. While he is mumbling to himself, Ana wake up from her sleep, slowly she turns her head around and without expected, she see Young Bae is there sitting right beside her.
“Bae...?” – Ana.
“Ahh, Ana!!” – Young Bae, his heart jump when he heard Ana’s voice. “Oh no, did I wake you up?”
“Not really....but why is Bae mumbling just now?” – Ana. Slowly, she stands sitting and facing Bae after.
“Nothing really, Ana. Ana....go back to sleep if you still are very tired.” – Young Bae.
“Bae....don’t worry...” – Ana. Young Bae look around, then quickly he standing up, he looks so worried – making Ana worried as well.
“...........” – Young Bae.
“Bae....” – Ana, she grabs Young Bae hands and hold it tight. “.......Can you just....stay here?”
“..........” – Young Bae. Slowly, he smiles at Ana and that makes her feel relief. Slowly he budge into Ana’s bed and lies on the bed next to her.
“Bae!! Don’t go to sleep yet!!” – Ana. She hits his chest and it makes him smirking.
“I am not yet sleeping, Ana. I am just resting my eyes.” – Young Bae, chuckling as he teased Ana around.
“Bae!!” – Ana.
“Alright, alright, I won’t tease you anymore. Now, come here...” – Young Bae. He pulls Ana right to him as it making Ana to fall right on his chest. Not just that, he even hugs her while he lying on the bed.
“Ahh...” – Ana.
“Shh, now. Go to sleep...Ana.” – Young Bae, as he whispering right through Ana ears in a very close distant.


That night, Ana sleeps on Young Bae chest until morning comes. For someone like Young Bae who never been so close with any girls, the fact he didn’t stutters talking with Ana, he is just being himself – someone who falls in love for the first time in his life.
That morning, when Ana woke up, she realizes Young Bae has left without leaving any notes behind, but he has left something for her to keep it. On the desk, lies diamond earring that is belonging to Young Bae. Ana slowly grab it and wear it on her right side of the ears. She smiles when she has something that belonging to someone she adores very much.

5 months later:


“Ayoooo...” – Jun Su.
“Hey bro....what are you doing blocking my street, eii?!!” – Seung Hyun. A guy who is blocking his way, standing right just in front of him slowly turns his head around facing Seung Hyun.
“Yo...” – Jun Su. The only one words coming out from his mouth, it made Seung Hyun peeved right away and just storm off just like that. But before he can go far, Jun Su called him and he stops moving. “Hey....excuse me...do you know where Korea International School is?”
“Sorry, I don’t know.” – Seung Hyun. After a simple answer he has given to Jun Su, he left the seconds after making Jun Su falls in curiosity.
“Is that person alright? I wonder if he goes to the same school as me. Oh well, I just have to manage this myself then...” – Jun Su.



On the other hands... –

Ana is walking on the same road as Jun Su whilst talking on the phone. She seems to have a stiff conversation with Young Bae on the other side. While Jun Su is just about to step backwards as he is reversing without looking anymore, suddenly he clash with Ana making both of them to falls down on the pavement. Accidentally making Ana’s cell phone to sent flying and hit the hard pavement.


“Oh no!!” – Ana. She landed on Jun Su where Jun Su is the one that having the pain more as he is lying on the ground and Ana is crushing him.
“This will be going to leave a mark...” – Jun Su, sarcasm tone.
“Ahh...I am sorry...” – Ana, quickly she move away from Jun Su and starts to standing up. Then she realizes her phone is not with her, immediately she’s looking for her phone.
“You for sure can crush me just like that.” – Jun Su. “Ahh!!”


Jun Su jumps all of sudden when she saw Ana with the clothes she is wearing. While Ana totally ignoring her when she is still busy looking for her phone. Just as she found it, she kneels down wanting to take her phone. Just as she is going to reach it, Jun Su already pick it up before she can.


“Is this belonging to you?” – Jun Su.
“Ahh, yes. Thank you...and can I have it back?” – Ana, wanting back what is belongs to her.
“Well then, I’ll give it back to you, if........” – Jun Su.
“If you want anything, then keep it. I won’t be going to do anything for anyone.” – Ana. Just as she is about to leave, Jun Su stops her before she walks any further. Yet, Ana ignores him completely and continues walking. Without any further thinking, he run forwards and stop right in front of Ana and blocks her way.
“Hey...don’t you want your phone back? I have changed my mind, here...” – Jun Su. Ana just stare at him for few minutes then again she ignores him and walk away. “Seriously, you don’t want it back?”
“You irk me...go away!!” – Ana.
“Hey, don’t talk like that...” – Jun Su.


Ana getting more irritated from Jun Su making her to decide to just run off from him. Slowly, her speed increasing and she started to run away from Jun Su. Jun Su stuns a bit that Ana run off from him, so he didn’t waste anymore time but to run after her.
They has been running around for the whole minutes already, slowly Ana getting tired and stops in front of one café she is familiar with. She looks around the café and shocked she is to see Young Bae is sitting alone in the café. Ana then moving forward and wanting to approach him, but she stops moving when she see a girl come to sit on the same table as Young Bae is.
Felt like just being hit by a bullet, Ana is very upset when she saw Young Bae with another girl. She turn around and step out of the café but then again, she clashed with Jun Su.


“Be careful...you seem to like crashing with peoples...this is the second times we got crashed with each others in one day.” – Jun Su.
“...............” – Ana.
“Hmm...Now, what is with the long face? Is there troubles you?” – Jun Su. Instead of talking, Ana shakes her head and her expressions really upsetting making Jun Su worried about her a bit. “How about we go out of here? What do you think?”
“Sure...Anything that can get my mind off of him.” – Ana.


Jun Su starts to smiles when Ana is agreeing with him, just so sudden, he grabs Ana hand and holds it tight. Jun Su gives a believing looks on his face and just like that he started to runs while pulling Ana with him. Ana more to shocks that from out of no where a guy she just met by accidents, pulls her away from the café. Young Bae who is inside the café, accidentally saw Ana being pull by some guy he doesn’t know, makes his heart race. He quickly stand up and run chasing after them but when he failed to do so when they already gone from his sight.


“Darn it!!” – Young Bae, angry tone.
“Bae....what is wrong? Why are you so angry all of sudden?!!” – Min Ahn.
“Leave me alone!!” – Young Bae. He starts to move and leave Min Ahn behind with confusing feelings.
“Bae....” – Min Ahn.
