Upon the Sky ... of sakura tree

Part 5


“Jae Yeon...” – Dae Sung, slowly he standing up with the help of Jae Yeon.
“Hey Dae, how long have he been like this?” – Jae Yeon.
“Since he came, I guess. I was just being informed he came today.” – Dae Sung.
“Poor him...it really gives him big impact.” – Jae Yeon.
“Go talk to him, Yeon...” – Dae Sung. Jae Yeon just nodded and walks towards Young Bae and sits next to him.
“Bae....” – Jae Yeon.
“.......Leave me alone...I don’t have any mood to talk with you. Go away...” – Young Bae.
“..........” – Jae Yeon.


Jae Yeon doesn’t know what to say anymore, but to accompany him and sit together even so she wanted him not to be hopeless. But she has no choices when he is in the worst situations where Young Bae will never listen to anyone and just satisfy himself.
It has been couple of months since Ana return to her hometown and Christmas is just around the corner. Everyone has gone shopping for the big holiday making the town become busy and crowded but different for Ana, she doesn’t celebrate it like always.


At Ana’s place... –

Ana who is lying down on the soft carpet at the same time she stares through the windows where there are lots of pretty lights that happen outside. She just stared at them and didn’t say anything or do anything for the holiday. All of sudden, Jay sit down next to her as he is facing her, his expressions at her looking so serious. But she just acts unconcerned with it.


“Ahh, Miss Ana...don’t you want to do something this year?” – Jay.
“Hmm...What for? It won’t be any different.” – Ana.
“Even just for once?” – Jay.
“Period!! I won’t do it this year or next year and so on.” – Ana.
“Ahh, Miss Ana....sighs.....” – Jay.
“Why? You really want to do this badly?” – Ana
“Not really, but it is for you though...you’ve never celebrates it even once.” – Jay.
“That is why I am not starting it. I don’t want to make my body tired from doing all of the work.” – Ana.
“Even if I tell you millions time how fun it would be, you won’t change your mind, do you Miss Ana?” – Jay. Ana shakes her head at the same time staring at the outside.
“I just want to relax, that is all. I don’t want to makes fuss out of it, it bored me easily.” – Ana.
“I won’t say anything anymore when you have said like that.” – Jay. Suddenly, Ana standing up and head to her room. Jay just watch her and when he stand up, Ana just come out from her room and is all dress up. “Where are you going?”
“I’m hungry and I don’t want to cook. I’m going to go out and eat.” – Ana.
“Do you want me to come with you?” – Jay.
“It is up to you...” – Ana. Without thinking anymore, he just tags along with Ana.



Meanwhile, Seung Hyun who is buying something for someone at the toy store making all of the kids to stare at him when he carries huge teddy bear. The teddy is double the size from his own size, making it heavier to carries it but he doesn’t care as long as he can buy and pay for it.
When he has arrives at the cashier counter, he put the huge teddy on the counter, making it hard for him and the cashier to see each others but the cashier still can hear his voice clearly. After he has paid for the teddy bear, again he has to carries it until he returns home. The time he steps out of the toy store, carrying the huge bear, it makes everyone eyes caught and only focus on him.
It is a total awkward for Seung Hyun to do it, but he doesn’t want that to troubles him as long as the teddy, he can give it to the person he wanted it to have. He even have to walk slowly or else, it would be major the troubles if he drops the teddy bear.



“I never knew that ice vanilla mocha is this good!!?” – Jay, hyper tone.
“Hmm....it does. You just never expected it would be this good.” – Ana.
“Ahh...wait!! You seem...somehow different.” – Jay.
“I don’t know what you mean...” – Ana. Ahead of them, they can see people backing away and they seem shocked at what they’re looking at. Ana and Jay curious at their actions making them want to turn around. Just as they about to turn around, it shows up when huge teddy bear is walking.
“What is that!!?” – Jay.
“That looks like..........” – Ana, she becomes silent for a few seconds and pause her sentences. “.....I don’t want to wait anymore for this, let’s head home.”
“But....the restaurant is just ahead around the corner.” – Jay.
“No!! Let’s just go...!!” – Ana.


Right before Ana and Jay can walk off, they are already too late when they heard a voice coming from the bear and thought the bear really talking to them. When Seung Hyun shoves the teddy bear a little to the left, they can see his head and he smiles to them. Slowly he walks towards them and he is really happy to see her.


“Ana....Hey, happy to see you here.” – Seung Hyun.
“.......I’m going home.” – Ana.
“Ana!! Wait for a few seconds...” – Seung Hyun.
“I told you before, I don’t want to get anything involves with you.” – Ana.
“Ahh....here. That is for you...I bought it for you.” – Seung Hyun, he gives the teddy bear to Ana before Ana agreeing to have it.
“Hey...I don’t want this.” – Ana.
“Take it...that is especially for you.” – Seung Hyun.
“Take it back, I don’t want this!!” – Ana. She wanted to gives back to Seung Hyun, but she is already too late.
“No, you keep it. I need to go now. Bye Ana...” – Seung Hyun, he run off and left Ana behind carrying the teddy bear. Ana look very displease with Seung Hyun, she turn around and gives the bear to Jay for him to carry it.
“..........” – Jay.
“Throw it away.......” – Ana.
“Are you sure? But he really......” – Jay.
“Do as what I says or else, Jay...” – Ana.
“Yes, Miss Ana.” – Jay.

At Ana’s place... –

The second they have return home, Ana told Jay again to throw it away. Here he is now at the dumpster near their place ready to throw the teddy. But it is hard for him to do it but if he wants to live, he has no choices. The seconds when he is about to do it; Ana show up before she is too late.
Jay smiles when Ana has decided not to throw the teddy away. Jay and Ana head back inside and he put the bear on the living room, at where Ana always hang around.


“Miss Ana, it was great for you to decide not to make me throw it away. It is such a waste though to throw it when someone wants you to have it.” – Jay.
“............” – Ana, she stares at the teddy bear that just right in front of her. Jay starts to yawn and decides to have a rest. Before he goes into his room, he stares at Ana who is still staring at the bear.
“Goodnight, Miss Ana...” – Jay. Ana just nodded and he closes his door.


“Stupid Seung Hyun!! Why do you have to give this stuff to me!!?” – Ana, whisper tone. She sighed heavily and the next thing she knew, she falls asleep in the living room while laying her head on the bear.


The next day, when Ana wake up, she found out a blanket is covering around her body. Slowly she stand sitting and look around idly. She stills look a bit weak from sleeping on the floor. Without wanting to wait anymore, she run to the toilet to get hot relaxing shower and plan to go out to have breakfast.
After everything has settles – changing into a new clothes and everything, she is ready to go. When she finishes locking the door, she is very shocked to see Seung Hyun leaning his body to the wall not far from where she is standing. She gives him disgusting look and ignoring him then she just walk pass by him. But before she can go far, Seung Hyun grabs her hand making her hard to moves around. She tries to pull her hand away from him, but his grasped is too strong for someone like her.


“What....” – Ana, didn’t finish her sentences when Seung Hyun interrupt her.
“No...Listen...!!” – Seung Hyun.
“Just let go!!” – Ana.
“Tell me why you hated me so much?” – Seung Hyun.
“You are just so ignorant!! And that makes me sick!! It disgusted me very much.” – Ana. After at what Ana just said, when Seung Hyun received it crystal clear, his grasp weakening and slowly he let go of her hand. He didn’t say much and just walk away without saying anything at Ana like always. He seems heartache after what Ana just said to him, feeling like his heart got hit by a bullet, he feels very useless.


His action doesn’t give any impact to Ana or concern her, she just continue walking to the destinations she is heading to. On her way to the café to get some breakfast for herself, not far from where she is at, there is huge commotions where there are lots of people surrounding it.
Ana doesn’t feel right all of sudden when she is getting closer to it, makes her curious at the incidents. To make sure of herself, she approaches the incidents and shocked she is to found out it is an accidents that involved Seung Hyun. Double the shocked when she saw a kitten that Seung Hyun is holding.


“Ahh...Ana...hey...” – Seung Hyun. Ana didn’t say anything but her expression really tells that she is furious at him. Ana approaches him and hit him very hard yet Seung Hyun still smiles.
“Stupid!! You could have died from this!!” – Ana.
“I don’t mind as long as I save this kitten.” – Seung Hyun.
“Ahh, you are still stupid!!” – Ana.
“Are you mad at me?” – Seung Hyun. “But I have no choice; I couldn’t bear to see he got hit by a car.”
“Of course I am mad at you due to your stupid action!!” – Ana.
“I’m sorry, but.........” – Seung Hyun. He haven’t finish his sentence, Ana turn around about to leave him there alone. “Ehh, Ana!! I’m sorry.....but just like what I said, I don’t want this kitten died because in an accident. I was there, and I don’t want to let him got hit when I witness it. Ana, I’m sorry.”
“Don’t you know that you are very stupid?” – Ana. Slowly she turns her body around and stares at injured Seung Hyun. “........But....”


Ana moves toward Seung Hyun and sit beside her. She takes the kitten away from him and pats him gently. Comparing to the kitten and Seung Hyun, she smiles to the kitten more than to him. Seung Hyun just smiles and happy to see Ana smiling even though it is not for him, but he still happy for it that she smiles.


“You like that kitten more than me, ehh Ana?” – Seung Hyun.
“What are you talking about?” – Ana, she seems very busy playing with the kitten more than focusing on Seung Hyun.
“You look very happy when you are with that cat more than with me, Ana.” – Seung Hyun.
“That is because this cat is better than you, Seung Hyun.” – Ana.
“That is really harsh, Ana...it hit right through my heart.” – Seung Hyun.
“Are you being cheesy? If you do, well...don’t!!” – Ana.
“Tell me then...” – Seung Hyun.
“You are still pathetic...figure it out yourself.” – Ana. She didn’t want to say anymore, she slowly standing up. “I am going now; I’m taking this kitten home.”
“Ehh..?!! Ahh...Ana!! What about me?” – Seung Hyun.
“You aren’t that injured, I know you can stand up...” – Ana.
“Ahh, you are just so cruel to me. Why can’t you be nice?” – Seung Hyun.
“Because, I don’t feel like wanting to treat you nicely, bear with it.” – Ana.
“Aish, Ana...” – Seung Hyun. Just like what Ana predict, Seung Hyun wasn’t injured really badly and he can stand on his own two feet without being help by anyone. When he is about to make his step, all of sudden he can feel ache around his body making him to falls down back to the floor. When Ana saw him felt down, she quickly help him standing up.
“Are you alright? You seems frail, Seung Hyun.” – Ana.
“I don’t know what happen, but I feel so pain and aching.” – Seung Hyun.
“Let’s go...!!” – Ana.
“Ahh, where?” – Seung Hyun, he feel confuse.
“To the hospital of course....where else would you think?” – Ana.
“Do we must?” – Seung Hyun, acting like little kid who tries to avoids going to the hospital.
“We must!! We need doctor to check you up at what is wrong with you...” – Ana.
“Ughhhhh, I don’t want too...” – Seung Hyun, groaning.
“Don’t be a fuss, Seung Hyun. If you don’t want to go, I’m not going with you then.” – Ana.
“Seriously? You willing to go with me!!?” – Seung Hyun, jumps with excitement. Ana just nodded and he smiles.



At the hospital... –

While waiting for Seung Hyun to finish check up, Ana saw someone across the room from where she is at. Somehow what notice her about the person is that his face is full of bruises. Her eyes on him as she kept on staring him but he didn’t even aware that he is been watched. Even after Seung Hyun has done checked up, when he called her name, Ana didn’t hear his voice – not until he approaches her.


“Ana?” – Seung Hyun, curious and wondering at why Ana so silent.
