Part 15



“Do you really like to see me in pain that much!!?” – Taek Yeon. No words coming out from Hae Ji’s mouth. Taek Yeon sighed. “For once I thought for being nice...yet you intend to hurt me.” Right away, Hae Ji moved away from Taek Yeon angrily. He just stared at her walked away from him and didn’t even try to stop her. He sighed and rubbed his back head. “What do I have to make you be around me?” Again, he sighed. He kept on sighing then he rolled on the bed in distressed from right to left. When Hae Ji returned back to the room, she stared at him oddly.
“What are you doing?” – Hae Ji. The seconds Taek Yeon heard Hae Ji voice, he stopped rolling yet he fell down to the floor and it made loud thumped noise. “You fell down, are you alright there?”
“Ahh?” – Taek Yeon, quickly he stood up and climbed back to the bed. “No, I’m alright.” Hae Ji didn’t say anything after that. “Hmm...ahh, hey.”
“What do you want, Taek?” – Hae Ji, weak tone.
“Hmm....are you alright? You don’t sound so good.” – Taek Yeon.
“I’m just....a bit tired. I called Jun Ho oppa to pick me up.” – Hae Ji.
“What? Are you serious!!? Why did you do that?” – Taek Yeon, shocked tone.
“Yes I am serious. I’m packing my stuff now; he’s on his way already to pick me up.” – Hae Ji, she didn’t even bothered looking at Taek Yeon and doing it as fast as she can. Whilst she’s busied packing her stuff, Taek Yeon approached her and slowly he moved his hand towards Hae Ji and touched it.
“Why do you always want to leave and be so far away from me?” – Taek Yeon, gentle tone. He continued; “Am I that really bad? You really hate me that much, don’t you?” Hae Ji stopped packing; slowly she turned her body around and faced Taek Yeon.
“Listen, Taek....I don’t know what to think of now, I don’t really know. But what I know is that, I am very exhausted. So please, just let me go home.” – Hae Ji.



Taek Yeon couldn’t win anymore, slowly he let go of Hae Ji hand and let her continued her packing. Then after she has finished, just few seconds later her cell phone rang. When she picked it up, her reactions was very happy regarding the way she talked to the caller. After few minutes later, when she has ended the call, she headed to the main door.
Before Hae Ji opened the door, she stopped moving and slowly she turned around and realized it was silent. She stepped back away from the door and walked to the room and there’s no sign of Taek Yeon in the room. She looked around to the right and the left.


“Now where is he?” – Hae Ji. Then she realized the balcony door’s opened. Slowly she walked forward and when she stepped out on the balcony, Taek Yeon’s there gazing the outside view from the balcony. “Oh...you are here.” Taek Yeon didn’t bother to turn around when he spoke to Hae Ji just now.
“You are still here? And I thought you have left already.” – Taek Yeon, cold tone.
“I am about too. Hmm....Jun Ho oppa must have await for me already.” – Hae Ji. She continued; “....Well, I take my leave now.”
“Hmm.....” – Taek Yeon. Hae Ji don’t know what to say anymore, then she just turned around and walked back to the main door.



After Hae Ji has left the room, she ran to where Jun Ho waited for her. From way up the balcony, Taek Yeon could see Hae Ji ran to Jun Ho. He kept on stared at them and he felt pain when he saw Hae Ji hugged Jun Ho.

Few months later when the holiday has arrived – included the Academy that Hae Ji and Woo Young went too and as well as for 2PM to have their break, all of them has planned to go to an Island resort for them to enjoy their relaxing time. In the flight at the first class, Hae Ji sat next to the window which was next to Jae Beom and she was being forced to sit next to him.
Meanwhile Jun Ho and Jun Su sat next to each others. While Taek Yeon and Chan Sung sat next to each others. Woo Young and Nichkhun sat next to each others. Taek Yeon and Chan Sung were the loudest one in the first class while Woo Young and Nichkhun were the gentle and silent one in the first class. Jun Su and Jun Ho both fell asleep on the same time and Jae Beom tried to convince Hae Ji and yet she still didn’t say any words.


“Now, are you going to be mad at your own oppa the entire time we’re in the plane?” – Jae Beom.
“Oppa...leave me alone.” – Hae Ji.
“Don’t be like this, Hae Ji. I would rather choose my own sister to be sitting with me in the plane. For me to choose those six immature grown up men? That would be 100 years from now on for it to be happening.” – Jae Beom. Chan Sung heard their conversation a little; slowly he stood up from his seat and walked towards their place.
“Hey...What was that with the “six immature grown up men?” talked? I heard it...a little bit.” – Chan Sung.
“Hmm....you can ask this person about that.” – Hae Ji, pointed at Jae Beom.
“Hey, that is so not very nice to point finger at your brother like that!!” – Jae Beom.
“I don’t care....” – Hae Ji.
“Young lady!!” – Jae Beom, he raised his tone. “If you continue to act like this, I swear young lady that when we arrive at the Island, I will ground you.” Hae Ji slowly turned her head around after at what Jae Beom has said to her, she then gave him a sharp stare. “You are grounded, young lady!!” Hae Ji shakes her head and rolled her eyes at the same time.
“You grounded Hae Ji, hyeong?” –Chan Sung.
“Yes, you heard me, Chan Sung.” – Jae Beom.
“Hmm...whatever.” – Hae Ji.



Few hours later, when they have arrived at the Island resort, their personal tour guide whom they met up at the airport took them to the hotel resort right away. He has checked them their room each earlier before they came to the Island resort and there’re 4 room altogether. And again, Jae Beom and Hae Ji stayed in one room and they got the single bed consist of two.


“Why do I have to share room with you and not get my own!!?” – Hae Ji. She continued; “Oh wait, I can lock the door so that you cannot enter the room.”
“What!! PARK HAE JI!!” – Jae Beom. Hae Ji shakes her head and walked away from Jae Beom. “Where are you going? You are grounded, young lady.”
“Watch me.” – Hae Ji. She started to run and slammed on the door when she left the room.
“PARK HAE JI!! COME BACK HERE....” – Jae Beom. When he’s about to catch up to her, he’s too late already and lost her.



After Hae Ji succeeds in escaping herself from her brother, she continued to walk around the Island resort. It seems that the Island resort’s famous for tourists and when she looked around her, and mostly that walked passing through her were the tourists from outside her country. She amazed of how the Island resort attracted mostly tourists.


“I didn’t know about this.” – Hae Ji, she stopped in front of the jewellery story and saw from the window show glass an anklet. She seems to get her eyes caught on it. She gazed at the anklet from the outside. Then all of sudden without her awareness, from behind someone leaned his head closer to her and said something to her.
“Do you like it? Want me to buy it for you?” – Taek Yeon. Hae Ji jumped in surprised when she turned her head around and found out Taek Yeon stood right behind her.
“What are you doing here!!?” – Hae Ji, surprised tone.
“I am here with you guys for the vacations, remember?” – Taek Yeon.
“That I know smart mouth. I mean here is here!!” – Hae Ji, whilst pointed her index finger to the pavement at where they standing now.
“I don’t know, I am lurking....I guess. Then I saw you gazed at that anklet.” – Taek Yeon. He continued; “Do you want that one?” Hae Ji didn’t say anything at all. Taek Yeon didn’t want to wait outside anymore longer; right away he grabbed Hae Ji hand and pulled her inside to the store. When they have entered the store, one of the salesperson approached them with a smiled.
“May I help you by any chances?” – Salesperson.
“Yes...can I get that anklet that shown from the outside? I wanted to buy it for my fiancé here.” – Taek Yeon.
“Yes, of course sir. I’ll go get it for you.” – Salesperson. Slowly he excused himself and walked to the show window and gets the anklet. Not long after, he returned back to where Taek Yeon and Hae Ji were at. “Is this the one, sir?” He showed the anklet to Taek Yeon and Taek Yeon nodded right away.
“How much would that be?” – Taek Yeon.
“It cost $15, sir. Do you want me to wrap it for you?” – Salesperson. Taek Yeon paid the $15 to the salesperson.
“It is no need; I’ll just take it like that.” – Taek Yeon. The salesperson gave the anklet gentled to Taek Yeon and he grabbed it slowly from the salesperson hand. Quickly, Taek Yeon pulled Hae Ji out of the store after he said thank you to the salesperson.
“Hmm...They seem to be in such a rush. People nowadays look like always in a rush.” – Salesperson.



At the beach coast, Taek Yeon brought Hae Ji all the way from the store to the beach coast without stopping in the midst of the way. Hae Ji tried to pull herself away from him and once again he grasped her hand tightly. Finally, they stopped moving and Hae Ji still kept on pulling herself away from Taek Yeon.


“Seriously, do you want your arm to be pluck away from your body? So stop doing that!!” – Taek Yeon.
“I don’t care if I do get my arm pluck away from body as long as I can get myself away from you.” – Hae Ji. Taek Yeon tried not to get angry at her today.
“Sit down, Hae Ji.” – Taek Yeon. Hae Ji slowly sat down on the big boulder.
“What really, Ohk Taek Yeon...what really you wanted to do this time?” – Hae Ji, called Taek Yeon by his full name.
“Wait, why are you calling me by my full name?” – Taek Yeon.
“Why? I cannot?” – Hae Ji. Taek Yeon didn’t answer Hae Ji questioned, slowly he took out the anklet then he put it onto Hae Ji right feet.
“There, it fit you perfectly and it suits you well.” – Taek Yeon.
“Why do you even trying? Even so after this I still cannot treat you like the others...” – Hae Ji.


“Do you know that I will never give up? Even so many times we argued more instead.” – Taek Yeon. He continued whilst stood up; “Can we...get along, for once?”
“I would if you will. Because all of this, you started it.” – Hae Ji.
“Hmm....I try to pretend that never happen.” – Taek Yeon.
“...........” – Hae Ji. Taek Yeon slowly sat on the bolder next beside Hae Ji.
“To you....I still cannot be that better person in your eyes, am I right?” – Taek Yeon, he raised his head up and looked to the sky. He continued; “Like...I will always be that someone that is not secure for you to be around me...”
“Taek Yeon....” – Hae Ji.
“No...It’s okay. I get it, it’s me. I am being the forceful one here.” – Taek Yeon. He let go of a sighed then he continued; “...But, I will never give up.”



Later on that night, Jae Beom waited for Hae Ji to return back to the room. He walked forth and backward repeatedly and still after few minutes, Hae Ji still hasn’t return. Jae Beom started to felt stressful and worried at the same time.


“WHERE IS THAT GIRL!!?” – Jae Beom. After few minutes later, Jae Beom rushed off to the outside and started to look for Hae Ji. When he left few minutes ago, not log after that, Hae Ji showed up and went into the room. She didn’t know her brother went out looking for her. She didn’t aware of her brother missing from the room; right away she threw herself on the bed and directly fell asleep just like that.


The first place Jae Beom went was Jun Ho and Jun Su room. He barged into their room just like that and it made both Jun Ho and Jun Su jumped in surprised. Jae Beom looked to the left and right but at what he’s looking for wasn’t in their room. Without saying anything, he left the room and left Jun Ho and Jun Su in wondered.
After Jae Beom left their room, Jun Ho and Jun Su looked at each others and they both raised their shoulders at the same time. The second room he went was Nichkhun and Woo Young. Again, he barged into their room and done the same thing he does when he barged into Jun Ho and Jun Su room. Again he left the room and again the same thing happened when Nichkhun and Woo Young raised both of their shoulders.
The third and final room for Jae Beom was Chan Sung and Taek Yeon room. When he arrived at their room, Taek Yeon was just arrived and he was about to take his shirt off when Jae Beom barged in. Taek Yeon threw pillow when Jae Beom surprised him by coming to their room without telling or asking.


“What in the world were you doing here!!?” – Taek Yeon.
“Have you seen Hae Ji?!! That girl is grounded and she dares to escape from me!!” – Jae Beom.
