Part 2



“I am Hae Ji, but you are.......?” – Hae Ji.
“It’s me, your best friend; Doo Joon. Don’t you remember me?” – Doo Joon. When he turned around, he jumped when he saw Ki Kwang. “AJ?”
“Joon!! What are you doing here?” – Ki Kwang.
“Dinner, of course – I just got here, and the second I saw Hae Ji, it surprised me. I had to ask, AJ.” – Doo Joon.
“Wait, wait one second. You know, Hae Ji?” – Ki Kwang. He continued; “Why don’t you tell me?”
“I would tell you but only one problem; I don’t even know you knew Hae Ji. And yes, of course I know her. She is my best friend since ever. But I seem to get the wrong Hae Ji when she didn’t know me.” – Doo Joon.
“She is Hae Ji alright, but then....I guess, it must be different Hae Ji though.” – Ki Kwang, he paused as he looked around, then he continued; “Are you alone?”
“No, I’m with Ahn Hee. Hey AJ, I have to go now, Ahn is waiting for me. I’ll see you later then.” – Doo Joon. Before he left, he had a glimpsed and saw Hae Ji left hand and saw a scar line. His eyes became huge as he walked back to his seat. “That’s her!! It’s the same scar from the last year. But...how could she not remember me? What happened in the past?” He thought.
“Sure then, alright, see you later.” – Ki Kwang.
“Oppa, he’s your friend? He seems nice, but somehow I felt like knowing him in my past.” – Hae Ji.
“Hae Ji....” – Ki Kwang, before he can continue his sentence, Hae Ji already cut it out.
“Oppa, I don’t know. But somehow all of these people that I just met today, I seem to know them before. But, why I could not remember them?” – Hae Ji. That instant, Ki Kwang leaned over to Hae Ji and embraced her tightly.

A week later, on the day for Ki Kwang to have his stage performance for Music Bank, at the back stage room where Ki Kwang being make-up by his stylist, while Hae Ji just sat watching him got touched up. She smiled just by looking at him.
Through the mirror, Ki Kwang can see Hae Ji smiling, he smiled back to her. Not long after he has done being touched up by his stylist, he turned around and looked at Hae Ji.


“I hope this goes well, cheer for me, baby. I need your support more than anyone.” – Ki Kwang. Hae Ji stood up all of sudden then she moved closer to Ki Kwang. Slowly she bent her body and leaned closer to Ki Kwang and planted her lips on his.
“Do your best.” – Hae Ji, whispered right to Ki Kwang ears. Ki Kwang nodded.



Later, when Ki Kwang in the midst of doing his solo; Dancing Shoe, from the audience where Hae Ji’s at with the other crowds, she never take her eyes away from him. She was amazed at him performing on the stage. After he has done, the next to perform was 2PM. When he went off the stage, the boys walked to the stage. On the stage, Taek Yeon saw Hae Ji somewhere with the crowds and she’s about to leave as well. He sighed heavily and Jae Beom aware of it.
On her way to the backstage, when Hae Ji’s arrived, she saw few fan girls surrounding Ki Kwang and he’s all sweated up. She smiled then she moved forward and waited until the fan girls left. And it took nearly 30 minutes for them to finish up, but Hae Ji kept on waiting.


“They are your fans, oppa?” – Hae Ji. Ki Kwang smiled.
“Yes, they wanted an autograph.” – Ki Kwang.
“They looked so nice, oppa. You have very nice fans.” – Hae Ji.
“Come, let’s go inside.” – Ki Kwang. The second they entered the room, Ki Kwang threw himself to the sofa.
“Oppa, you’re sweating.” – Hae Ji. Just as she’s about to get some tissue, Ki Kwang grabbed her waist and pulled her towards him, making her to fell sitting on his laps.
“Just stay here with me until they called for that result.” – Ki Kwang.
“But...” – Hae Ji.
“Don’t mind about the sweating, baby. It’s okay, I can manage it.” – Ki Kwang.
“I’m happy for you oppa.” – Hae Ji.
“Don’t I have a prize or anything?” – Ki Kwang, smirked. Hae Ji leaned over and kissed Ki Kwang forehead.
“How’s that?” – Hae Ji.
“Ahh, it’s still a worth.” – Ki Kwang, he laughed lightly.

The next day –

Hae Ji went to the store and when she’s just near to the store, someone stopped right in front of her, disguised himself by wearing scarf covered half of his mouth and a hat.


“Ahh...” – Hae Ji.
“It’s me, Taek Yeon.” – Taek Yeon.
“Oh, you’re the one that’s very tall one, right? I remember you.” – Hae Ji.
“Yes, that’s me, the taller one. Well, do you have a minute?” – Taek Yeon.
“Yes, if it’s that important, sure, why not.” – Hae Ji.



At the coffee shop –


“What is it oppa? What do you want to talk about?” – Hae Ji.
“That necklace, may I know from where and whom give you?” – Taek Yeon. Hae Ji lowered her head down and looked at the necklace she wore.
“I don’t know who gave it, but it has been with me since last year already. I really love it very much.” – Hae Ji.
“That necklace...it’s one of a kind, special made and none have that but you.” – Taek Yeon. Hae Ji looked at him wondering and very agonized. “It’s because, whether you believe it or not, it happened when someone gave it on that certain special someone on her birthday last year.”
“Ahh....” – Hae Ji. “But it couldn’t be. This is the first time I came to Korea, it just impossible.”
“And know who that certain special someone? It’s you, Hae Ji. I know and I have the feeling it’s you. You’re that someone and I was the one who gave you that necklace. Not long ago when your adopted brother took you back to the State leaving us and your own brother her in Korea – and the fact that you don’t remember your own brother.”- Taek Yeon.
“Jae Beom? You mean Jae Beom is my own brother? But....” – Hae Ji.
“And this may shock you, but I’m your fiancé and I am still will be after at what you said on the phone last year. It hurt, but I am still your fiancé.” – Taek Yeon. Hae Ji eyes became huge after at what she just heard. She wanted to say something but she’s stunned, speechless. “I’m sorry to tell this at you right now, but whether you want to believe or not, it’s up to you. But I do hope you remember back again.”
“........” – Hae Ji. Taek Yeon moved his head closer to Hae Ji and planted a light kissed on her mouth. “!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
“I should go now, or someone would kill me.” – Taek Yeon. Just as he’s about to move, Hae Ji grasped his back clothes then she stood up looking so angry. Just as he’s about to open his mouth, a punch from out of no where, hit right to his side waist.
“That is for kissing me, you no good skyscraper!!” – Hae Ji, angry tone. She grabbed her stuff and stormed off angrily.
“Oh great, now she remember and urghh, that girl still can hurt me!!” – Taek Yeon. “WAIT!! SHE REMEMBERED!!?” Like that he stormed off to the outside but he’s too late already when she’s gone already. “Darn it!! I’m too late.”


“That stupid skyscraper!! He’s violating again.” – Hae Ji. She stopped all of sudden. “Wait, what just happened?” She turned around in such shocked expressions. “I...” She stuttered. That instant, she called Ki Kwang right away.
“Hello, baby doll? Something’s wrong?” – Ki Kwang.
“Oppa...I-I can remember back again. I-I don’t know what happened.” – Hae Ji.
“WHAT?!!” – Ki Kwang, shocked tone. “Where are you, baby?”
“I’m at the city, oppa. Somewhere not far from the store you once took me other days.” – Hae Ji. She continued; “O-Oppa, I-I need to see my brother. I really need to see him. For the past year, we’re apart and it that entire stupid Byung Sooh fault!!” She cut the called before Ki Kwang can say anything back to her.



Right away, she ran her way home to where Jae Beom’s at. When she reached home, she barged in and none was there. Just silent, but then, it was a shocked when a girl came out from the kitchen. She’s the same person that came to Ki Kwang’s place that night – the same girl that’s Ki Kwang best friend – the same girl that has connection with Taek Yeon.


“Ahh, Hae Ji-sshi.” – Gwok Dan. She continued; “What are you doing here?” Hae Ji looked around.
“I’m here for my brother. But they’re not here, they would be back soon, I think.” – Gwok Dan. “Wait, brother? I don’t know you had brother. Ki never told me that before.”
“Long story, Gwok Dan-sshi. For now, all I need is him.” – Hae Ji. “Gwok Dan-sshi, are you going to stay here until they have return?” Gwok Dan nodded but her expressions somehow bothered Hae Ji.
“Are you alright?” – Hae Ji.
“Ahh? Ahh...please don’t worry about me. I’m alright.” – Gwok Dan.
“Please, if they have return, please don’t tell me I’m here. I’m going upstairs to my room.” – Hae Ji.
“Hae Ji-sshi...” – Gwok Dan. Slowly she walked towards Hae Ji. “I’m sorry if I asked this, but Taek always told me about her past love. I’m very envy of her who stole his heart; I just want to be someone that can love him very much. And....I have the feelings that he wouldn’t love me as much he does to her. I’m sorry, Hae Ji-sshi, but.......”
“If you love him very much, I have your support, Gwok Dan-sshi.” – Hae Ji.
“I’m sorry Hae Ji-sshi, I just....I don’t know. I know Taek through Ki Kwang. Since I saw him the first time, I fell for it not because he’s some sort of artist. But because there is just something in him that made me wanted to love him very much. My heart flew away every second I’m on the same room as him – breathing the same air. You know what I mean, right?” – Gwok Dan. Hae Ji smiled and nodded.
“I know truly, Gwok Dan-sshi. I once loved someone, so much. But, because of something much unexpected thing happened, it just torn my heart very much.” – Hae Ji.
“I’m sorry.” – Gwok Dan. “I must have wasted lots of your time already. I-I’m going back to the kitchen.”



After Gwok Dan has left to the kitchen, Hae Ji went upstairs to her room which she hasn’t been used for the whole year. She looked around but nothing was change. She smiled but something has caught her eyes when she saw something furry laid at the edge of the bed – it’s the teddy bear that Taek Yeon gave her on the Christmas Eve.
Hae Ji walked closer to the bed then she reached the teddy bear. She stared at the teddy bear and it’s still in one shape. She laughed lightly seeing that it’s still in one shape when she has left it for a year long already.


“How much I missed this fluffy bear.” – Hae Ji. She smiled but it didn’t last long when her expressions changed. “.....I’m lost. I love Ki oppa, but........I still loving Taek oppa. But, I cannot betray Gwok Dan. She loves him very much. This is that entire stupid adopted brother fault!! If it’s not because of him, this wouldn’t be happening. I’m going to call dad and tell everything!!” Right away, she took her cell phone out from her back pants pocket and quickly dialed her father number.


“Ahh, there my favorite girl calling, things is working good there?” – Mr Hwan.
“Dad, this is all Byung Sooh fault. If it’s not because of him, nothing different would be happening. Dad, he made me and Jae oppa apart for the whole year. He’s the one that made me had an amnesia.” – Hae Ji.
“I already know that, Hae Ji. Because of what he has done, he’s at his grandparent house now. Don’t worry about him; everything has been managed already by me.” – Mr Hwan.
“But dad, how about my engagement with Taek oppa? Because of what slight thing he has done, everything has change already. Dad, I don’t know now.” – Hae Ji.
“I know you, I know you much that you can handle this. All you need is sorting it out slowly. Ease up and don’t problem your mind very much. I believe you, I have hope in you. Do your magic, Hae Ji.” – Mr Hwan. Hae Ji sighed heavily.
“I know dad, I just......I don’t know dad.” – Hae Ji.
“Hae Ji, be strong alright?” – Mr Hwan.
“Okay dad. Dad, I got to go, I’ll call you again next time. Dad, do take care always. I’m worried about your health.” – Hae Ji. Mr Hwan chuckled.
“Hae Ji, you are my daughter, not my wife. Don’t worry about my health alright? I’m all healthy here.” – Mr Hwan.
“Sure, dad? Don’t make me come there and take care of you.” – Hae Ji, she laughed lightly. “Bye dad.” She hanged up on the phone, and then she sighed again. “Downstairs is still silent. I wonder if they have return home or not.” She mumbled.



When Hae Ji walked downstairs whilst hugging the teddy closed to her chest, she stopped in the midst of the stairs when Ki Kwang was there with Gwok Dan. Her eyes became huge, right away she ran down the stairs and when she’s closed distant from Ki Kwang, she jumped and hugged him.


“Oppa!!” – Hae Ji.
“Ahh, there you are. I’m so worried about you.” – Ki Kwang, he hugged her back.
“Oppa, what are you doing here?” – Hae Ji.



Just as Ki Kwang about to respond at Hae Ji’s, the others showed up and being noisy but they became so quiet when they saw Hae Ji and Ki Kwang.


“AJ?” – Chan Sung.
