Chain II

Part 7



“Mind you that...” – Jae Beom, he didn’t finish his sentence.
“Ahh.....” – Taek Yeon.
“Mind you that I saw what I saw with my own eyes.” – Jae Beom, he walked away and went to his room. Taek Yeon eyes became widen that he could not believe amongst the boys, the leadjah saw it.
“..............” – Taek Yeon.
“You cared mostly about her. Why don’t you tell her that?” – Jae Beom. Taek Yeon eyes became huge and he’s surprised a bit.
“Oh, you cared and why? I thought you’re the one that mostly will against in this.”
“Believe me, I am. To any guys that tried to get close, I am 100% against them.” – Jae Beom paused when he looked at Hae Ji. She smiled at him and he continued; “Just because I really wanted to see my one and only sister to be happy, anything for her – just anything to see that smile, I will do anything. Beside, aren’t you her fiancé?”
“I am not that perfect person to be her fiancé.” – Taek Yeon frowned. Jae Beom tapped his shoulder before he walked off.
“You know, no one is perfect in this world. You can’t expect much from someone if they have tried their best.” – Jae Beom. He continued; “Before you want to spend the rest of your life with my little sister, you better decided which one you wanted to be with.”



When Taek Yeon about to walk back to the sofa, he noticed that Hae Ji’s on the phone. He doesn’t want to bother her that he just left her and walked to the kitchen. Not long after, Ki Kwang came to take Hae Ji’s home. She smiled at him when he showed up.


“Are you ready, baby doll?” – Ki Kwang. Hae Ji’s nodded. Slowly, he helped her standing up then slowly they headed outside to his car. On their way home, he stopped by at the side way making Hae Ji’s wondered.
“Why are we stopping here?” – Hae Ji.
“We’re going to somewhere else first baby doll.” – Ki Kwang, he smiled at her then he continued to drive forward.



An hour later –


They have arrived at the location and it’s somewhere very unfamiliar to Hae Ji.
She looked around then she slowly looked very excited.


“Oppa, this place is very beautiful. Why are we here?” – Hae Ji, surprised tone. Ki Kwang smiled.
“It’s a surprise. I want to make this place a surprise for us both since it’s kind of our monthniversary.” – Ki Kwang. He continued as he pointed at the villa not far from where he parked his car; “Look, baby doll. That place, that villa. It’s used to be my parents but they passed it down to me so that I could have it with and share it with someone I love.” Hae Ji’s giggled.
“Really oppa? It’s very fascinating and lovely indeed. Your parents are very romantic.” – Hae Ji. Ki Kwang smiled.
“Shall we go?” Hae Ji nodded agreeing.



In the villa –


When they entered the villa, Hae Ji became more excited when she saw everything is very special but when she saw the view from the window, she getting more excited. That moment, right away she paced her steps to the window and by that it made very loud clucking noise came from the walking sticks.


“Oppa, this is very beautiful. How indeed your parents are very romantic as ever – I can see how they went through their life in this place. I wouldn’t mind living here for the rest of my life though; it’s very beautiful and very satisfying, don’t you agree oppa?” – Hae Ji, happy joyful tone. Slowly, Ki Kwang paced his steps and hugged her from behind as he put his hands around her waist while he putted his chin on her shoulder and his head closer to hers.
“I don’t mind at all, in fact I wanted to spend the rest of our life here, without any disturbance and hindrance from anyone.” – Ki Kwang. He continued by whispering it to her right ears; “Will you marry me here, Park Hae Ji? Just the two of us.” Hae Ji was surprised and her eyes became huge at the same time she’s very happy. Slowly she turned around while Ki Kwang hands still around her waist. She smiled at him.
“Yes, of couse, I will oppa.” – Hae Ji. Right that moment, she hugged him and putted her head closer to his chest.



Ki Kwang was very happy that Hae Ji accepted his proposed that he lifted her up and carried her to the master room in bridal style.
When they entered the room, he putted her down on the bed meanwhile he stood crawled on top of her. She moved her hand to his face and touched it gently.


“Even so I can no longer move; you still love me in who I am now.” – Hae Ji.
“In my eyes, you are already perfect. Why wouldn’t I love you when I will always love you?” – Ki Kwang.
“I’m just too happy.” – Hae Ji. Then slowly she started to dozes off that not long after, she fell asleep. Ki Kwang couldn’t help but to smile when he look at her sleeping face. Gently, he tucked her to bed.



The next morning –


When Hae Ji woke up, the first one she saw is Ki Kwang whose sleeping closed to her without wearing any clothes. The first breathe she exhale managed to make Ki Kwang woke up. When he woke up, he smiled when he saw Hae Ji’s just right in front of her.
He moved his hand towards her head and rubbed it gently then he moved his head closer to her and kissed her on the forehead.


“Hey, good morning. How are you?” Ki Kwang, greeted her in calm whispered tone.
“I’m good, oppa. Do you have a good sleep? I’m sorry if I fell asleep so quickly yesterday.” – Hae Ji. She moved both of her hands toward Ki Kwang neck and put it arounds his neck.
“I miss you.” – Ki Kwang. Hae Ji smiled.
“You missed me so fast?” – Hae Ji, she giggled.
“I missed you awfully lots.” – Ki Kwang, he pouted and pretended to be sulked.
“Oh oppa, now you’re acting like little child.” – Hae Ji, she rubbed his head gently.
“Pamper me? I really love how you indulgence me.” – Ki Kwang. Slowly, Hae Ji stood up sitting then followed by Ki Kwang. “Anything wrong, baby doll?” That second, Hae Ji leaned her body closer to Ki Kwang and hugged him tightly.
“Can we just stay like this for awhile?” – Hae Ji, whispering.
“As much longer as you want.” – Ki Kwang. He rubbed her back body repeated. All of sudden, he felt something weird happening when he started to feel a bit wet. Then he realized Hae Ji’s crying. “What’s wrong, baby doll? Why are you crying?” He lifted her chin up and wiped her tears with his fingers.
“Yes, I just don’t want us to be apart. It’s really painful in the heart.” – Hae Ji.
“You know that it will never happen, I promise you that.” – Ki Kwang. That moment, he leaned his head closer to hers and pressed his lips onto her.




Meanwhile –


“Hello...Hae Ji? This is Taek Yeon. I was wonder...”


But it was never a call back.

Years later –


“I’m home.” – Ki Kwang. He looked around but didn’t see Hae Ji’s around. “Baby doll, are you there?” No responded for few seconds but not long after, Hae Ji showed up from inside their room. He smiled when he saw her face. “There you are.” He paced his steps and walked towards her.
“How’s the other, oppa?” – Hae Ji. Ki Kwang slowly lowered his body as the same height as she’s whilst sitting on a wheel chair, then he grabbed her hands and held it tightly.
“I miss you the most.” – Ki Kwang.
“Do you love me the most?” – Hae Ji. Yet, tears slowly flew down her cheeks.
“Why are you crying?” – Ki Kwang, he wiped her tears away then continued; “I love you the most.”
“I don’t have two perfect legs. I am someone who will be spending the rest of my life on a wheel chair.” – Hae Ji. She continued stuttering while tears kept on coming out from her eyes; “I can’t even be there to cheer you up. These legs have no use to me anymore, why do you still love someone like me?”
“Because I don’t care what you’re, my heart, my love can never distort out of place just because.......” – Ki Kwang, he didn’t finish his sentence when Hae Ji cut him off.
“Please, if you love me, please find someone that capable of being there for you.” – Hae Ji.
“No, I can’t.” – Ki Kwang. Hae Ji lifted her head up and looked straight to his face with teary eyes.
“Why would you want to spend your life with someone like me?” – Hae Ji.
“Because I have vowed before that I will never leave you no matter what happened.” – Ki Kwang. Tears kept on coming out from her eyes, she couldn’t stop crying then just like that, Ki Kwang grabbed her and hugger her tightly. “Don’t ever leave me. How can I ever live without you? I will never leave my wife all to herself.”





This will be my last words for you, Ki Kwang oppa.
Since the time you took care of me, I am so happy but there will no longer needed.
Day by day, I’m gotten paler and my heart gotten weaker.
I was no longer able to mobilize myself in doing anything.
My heart shattered very much; it’s more painful when you know you will leave the one you love soon.
I have less time to be around but as long as I can breathe, still, all I wanted to do is to spend it with you.
I didn’t tell you; you don’t know at all, I’m sorry. I can’t tell you how much it will be harder for me if I tell you earlier.
But soon, I can no longer move my body around and all I can do was to watch from where I am sitting.
The day I couldn’t move around, is the day where I will be on bed the whole days – from morning to night, the past left and the present appear.
In the morning I open my eyes, you’re there to kiss me in the forehead and saying so happy that you’re leaving for your work and you always say to me to wait for you until you return home.
I was truly happy and I felt I was the luckiest girl ever to have such great man like you in my life.


But I will never regret myself in loving you and for the times we have spent together. I am very thankful and grateful to you.
Thank you so much for these times you have done for me.
I love you more than anything, but after I left, please do not feel sorry for yourself.
And all I wanted for you to be happy is to love someone else more than me.
Please do and fall in love all over again.
Do not torture yourself but please make yourself happy like you used to be.
These are all my last words from me to you and by the time you read this, it will be the last farewell from me.
And the time you finish this, will be the last breathe I’m writing this.
Please, be happy even after I left oppa.
And once again, I wanted to say thank you for everything.
Please say to everyone that I am very thankful to them and tell them not to worry about me.
Please take care of yourself and please be healthy as always.
