You’re My Eyes - One Shoot [Part 1]

“Aju....”


The second I heard that voice, I know right away whom it’s belonging too. It made me smile every time I hear that voice. It’s the only voice that can make me smile so much. I’m happy by only being beside him.


“Aju, where are you? Answer me, please.”
“Jun Hyeong, I’m just right over here.”


Quickly he ran towards the voice owner and when he entered a room, he was smiled when he saw someone he cherishes so much sitting on the sofa next to the window. He inhaled and exhaled and slowly he walked towards her.


“I was looking all over for you, Aju.” She smiled when he mentioned her name. He continued; “Do you know what makes me so happy everyday?” He paused as he looked at her for few seconds then he continued, again; “That is when you smile.”
“Jun Hyeong, are you still standing?”
“You caught me as always.”
“Why don’t you sit down here next to me?”
“I’m sorry, but can you want to have dinner with me tonight?” Aju expression changed.
“Why are you apologizing to me, Jun? You’re busy again today, isn’t it?” She can read his mind.
“Please? Have dinner with me.” Jun Hyeong begged.
“Jun, the last time it never went well. I can’t forget what happened the last time you took me out.”




Flashback –
A week ago –


“Is that your date for tonight, Jun Hyeong?”
“Yes, she is.” Jun Hyeong smiled and when he thought his friends were giving him compliment, it never was. Just as he’s about to introduce Aju to them, it happened.
“But she can’t see; how can you choose someone like her?” Jun Hyeong reaction changed; anger builds in his body and it’s ready to explode.
“Shut your mouth. You are not perfect yourself. Mirror yourself or you don’t have one. THEN GO BUY ONE!!” Just like that, he raged and shouted to all of his friends. Quickly he grabbed her hand and barged out of the place just like that.



On their way home, it was only silent occurred. Jun Hyeong tried to do something yet he failed.
He can do anything right since at what happened at the restaurant, he couldn’t face her.
Until she opened her mouth and break the silent.


“Jun, don’t worry. I get it every time people do that to me. I know I’m not perfect, but I’m realizing that I can do as much as they can. I know who I am, my flaw and my limit.” Aju didn’t finish her sentence when Jun Hyeong cut her off.
“But you are not like any of them, no Aju, no.” Aju smiled. He sighed and continued; “I’m sorry at my friends’ behavior. They are morons sometimes.”
“Why would I never forgive you, Jun?”
“Thank you, Aju.” He embraced her slowly.


End of flashback.



The next day –

Jun Hyeong ran his way to Aju’s place and when he arrived there, he barged in and looked for her everywhere in the house until he entered one room where she’s always at. Quickly, he approached her in such excited way.


“Aju, guess what?!!”
“Jun...” She said it in a happy melodic tone.
“I want to audition for Cube Ent!! What do you think?!!”
“That’s great, go for it Jun. You’ll succeed.”
“I am so excited, thank you Jun. I don’t care about anything as long as I have your support.”
“I always support you no matter what.”
“Come with me.”
“No, I can’t Jun. I will just be a nuisance to you.”
“Please don’t humor at this time or any time of you being a nuisance to me, I wanted you to be with me the time I audition, Aju. I need you to be there.”
“I can’t say yes now, Jun.”
“I’ll be waiting.”

After the audition at the Cube Ent, he rushed to Aju place and when he arrived and when he saw Aju, he approached her and hugged her.
Aju could hear Jun Hyeong hard breathing. Slowly she hugged her back to calm him.


“You did well, Jun.” Aju whispered right to his ears.
“I was so terrified and nervous and so many things happened.”
“You’ll be fine, Jun, you will. Have faith in yourself, alright?”
“I don’t know what I will do without you, Aju. I can’t even motivate myself.”
“I can’t always be there for you.” Jun Hyeong froze when he heard at what Aju just said, slowly he moved away from her.
“Why, are you leaving me?”
“I’m sorry, as much painful it is, I am.”
“No!! I can’t accept this!! You’re leaving me!! Why?!!”
“I don’t have power in this, Jun. It was all daddy decision for us to move and he said that he wanted to treat my eyes – wanting me to see the whole world. As much as I wanted this, I never was.”
“THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!”

A year and a half later –


“They are doing great, aren’t they?”
“Which one, which one? Ahh, I can’t choose, I love all six of them.” Both of them paused then turned their head away from the television and stared at someone whose rather minding her own business.
“Aju, you’re not excited?”
“Stop reading the book for a second, will you Aju?”


When her name got mentioned, she closed the book and turned around facing them whilst crossing her legs around.
She putted the book on the table and leaned her back to the chair and looked at them closely.


“What else would I do rather than sitting doing nothing watching you two dying from those boys?” She raised her left eyebrow staring at them.
