Hello watermelons –
Yesterday night, I went to have dinner outside with the husband and we ate at this restaurant where I can say one of the favourites place to go.
As usual there I have BBQ Chicken with Rice and it’s my favourite dishes there and it’s the one that I keep on ordering every time we eat there.
I kind of crave for Omurice from our local Japanese’s restaurant but yes, I can have it next time, shall we love?
Anyway after we had our dinner, we went to the cinema to watched Battle: Los Angeles’s film which we wanted to watch this before but never get the chances to but yesterday night we grabbed that chances and watched it. It was one heck of splendid film when it comes to Alien invading Earth. I love it too much!!
I want to watch it again but not in the cinema, maybe I will buy the DVD for this or maybe ask mate to help me download this film via Torrent? Really...I do not trust Torrent so I will just ask him to help me download them or maybe ask husband to ask mate to download Battle: Los Angeles’s film, KEKEKEKE ~ !!
So alright, the very early of the Battle: Los Angeles’s film, I was kind of yawned and honestly, could not wait for the invasion and yeah, there’s here and there a bit of funny part but not utterly hilarious but still it could make people giggles watching it.
The action and thrill started when all of sudden, somehow from the sky an invasion came to earth as they shoot lasers here and there whilst the Marines only have shotgun something like that but they still can shoot those Alien which I kind of called them Jellyfish look-a-like since well...if you have seen it then for sure you will know by what I mean there.
As the U.S Marines were getting ready for the battles between the Alien, they watched the television and they kind of...well I do not know what to say, they looked horrible when they saw the news with bombing here and there from those Aliens colonies weaponries – damn powerful and high tech since they came from the space and main reason they invaded Earth was due to the water.
U.S Marines took off to the locations where it has been invaded and there were victims bodies there then something happened when they heard this odd noise and when they expected it was those Jellyfish, they expected it wrongly when this dog came and when I saw that part, I was like; “Aawwww” because the dog was darn too cute!! Unfortunately we could not have dog as pet house and I only can go Aaww from afar or in television or in any film or just anywhere where no contacts in whatsoever from us, yeah ~ !!
They only have many minutes to well check the dog something like that until the real enemies appeared as they started to shoot their weapons towards the U.S Marines and yes, most of them got hit and some just injured. When they were escaping for their lives, they got separated with one of their men; Pfc. Shaun Lenihan and he kind of went to this apartment to hid himself from those Aliens and he was in terror feeling panicking here and there – well he did not do anything irrational, but he’s very alerted.
But he did killed one of those Aliens though and it died in the pool and so the others U.S Marines came to their sides then off they ran off the apartment and went outside since a helicopter came to take some of the injured men home to bases. Tragic happened when they were been attacked from the sky and Pfc. Shaun Lenihan was involved in it as well and so the others injured men. They died there, just like that in front of the U.S Marines that were still alive.
Good thing that SSgt. Michael Nantz did not handed the children and the locals to the helicopter or else they would die as well. Poor Pfc. Shaun Lenihan, his life in living was not long alongside the others that died from being attacked from the sky.
Oh yeah, when I first saw those Aliens, I was like; “Oh wow, new kind of aliens” and when I saw their spaceships, I was flabbergasted and my eyes were like widened, how techie ~
Anyway, back to the point, the actions here and there was like mega epix, the actions, the explosions, etc-etc, I was just so amazed by it. It is very well made film so far for me apart from The Malay Chronicles: Bloodlines’ film that we’ve watched last week, I love it!!
Nearly at the end, when everything the whole cities was destroyed horridly where fires here and there, the destroyed buildings, grounds and just everywhere, where in the sky there were lots of the spaceships roamed here and there and on the ground, those Aliens were somehow searching for victims, it just so tragic when I saw the places were destroyed utterly by them but there, the U.S Marines that led by SSgt. Michael Nantz were still alive, the determined to destroyed the main source of the Aliens – which I could not remembered what it was called.
Yes, just only seven of them, they destroyed the main source with those laser designators and I think two to three hit on the main source and BOOM!! It collapsed and aliens ran off feeling intimidated by the U.S Marines. I’m feeling satisfied from myself that the main source and the other spaceship were destroyed and happy too that finally the human got their land back from those Jellyfish!!
There was too a sad part where Hunter’s father from being shoot by one of the Aliens that nearly attacking SSgt. Michael Nantz’s from behind (I think, if not mistaken), as he grabbed the gun and shoot it before it shoots SSgt. Michael Nantz.
Hunter’s father was alive for many and many minutes until they arrived at F.O.B, there were no one left there and all of the soldiers there died due. Corpsman Jibril Adukwu was the one who aid Hunter’s father until he died. Very saddened that Hunter had to witnessed his father died there right in front of his face, he cried and I felt like wanted to cry too.
Then not long after Hunter’s father died, Cpl. Jason Lockett was accusing SSgt. Michael Nantz for leaving Lt. William Martinez behind not long ago and thought that SSgt. Michael Nantz was the one that left Lt. William Martinez behind but he proved Cpl. Jason Lockett was wrong.
After the little speech SSgt. Michael Nantz gave to Cpl. Jason Lockett, there they decided to followed SSgt. Michael Nantz and with the planned they have made, they finally able to destroyed the main source as like what I have mentioned above.
As the main source finally fell apart, there that part – I was in the zone and was amaze in everything – perfect film is perfect!! So much action in one film is always the finest of all – splendid one as well!!
Aliens retreated, U.S Marines was sent to their temporary bases, somewhere in the dessert; Mojave Dessert’s I presume? Yeah ~ !!
When they arrived at the Mojave Dessert, others soldiers were about to be send to the city to destroy the left over Alien but SSgt. Michael Nantz decided to go back to finish what it is needed to finish and Cpl. Jason Lockett decided to come along with SSgt. Michael Nantz to do the business and that’s killing those Jellyfish.
Although the film finished before we could see those Aliens being destroy by the soldiers, I know they are going too, to claim their land back.
The cinema we went yesterday night was nearly packed with peoples like how it was packed when we watched The Malay Chronicles: Bloodlines’ film last week at the same Mall yet different cinema – last week was cinema one and yesterday night was cinema two ;D
I somehow when I first saw Pfc. Shaun Lenihan and SSgt. Michael Nantz appeared in the film, I was like kind of familiar with them and so I Google-ed them not long ago and there it struck me!! Now I know from where I have seen them.
Pfc. Shaun Lenihan is Noel Fisher – where he acted in Disney’s film: Max Keeble's Big Move as a school bully and no wonder he was so familiar when I saw him in Battle: Los Angeles’s film and whoah, he looked very mature now compared to when he was acted as school bully in Max Keeble's Big Move’s film, KEKEKEKEK ~
Of course, SSgt. Michael Nantz who was played by Aaron Eckhart, he too is very familiar but I quite slow in knowing of this rather than how I realized of Noel Fisher. Yes, Aaron Eckhart’s the one who played as Harvey Dent/Two-Face in Batman’s film: The Dark Knight. There Aaron Eckhart had long hair and in this film, his hair was short so it’s hard for me to noticed of it, HOHOHO ~
And yes, husband was right!! Cpl. Kevin Harris was played by Ne-Yo and I did not even realized it was Ne-Yo there acting and whoah, I think this is the first time I saw Ne-Yo acted in such film, LOL!! Of course I have never seen him acting before, maybe just husband have?
Michelle Rodriguez was in the film too and as usual, her character in one film is always as tough girl and the same level as that. Her role was as TSgt. Elena Santos and she’s quite amazing too in the film and when she first appeared in the film, husband and I was like; “Ehh, it’s her ~”. Splendid!!
As like I said above, amazing film is amazing – EXCELLENT!!
And yeah, I could not wait to watch more of actions film like this one and of course, I could not wait of the upcoming films; Sucker Punch and Hop. I am always spazzing whenever I see those cute bunnies and chickens in Hop’s film.
Oh yes, I remember I have downloaded Hop’s game for iPod Touch from iTunes – I shall install it later on. I spazz whenever I saw Sucker Punch’s film trailer as well because I am so excited to watch it and of course, EMILY BROWNING!!
