Chain II

Part 1



“Taek Yeon...where are you boy?!!” – Jae Beom, shouted from downstairs.
“Ehh....OH NO!!” – Taek Yeon.
“TAEK YEON!! GET YOUR BUTT DOWN HERE!! WE NEED TO GO, NOW!!” – Jae Beom, shouted his lung out. That instant, Taek Yeon stormed off from the room and ran downstairs.
“Eii, hyeong. I’m here!!” – Taek Yeon.
“Now, let’s go!! Or else the manager hyeong will be angry at us.” – Jae Beom. He continued; “The others are in the car already. What were you doing upstairs?” Taek Yeon just nodded. “Wait, why are you nodding?”
“Ehh?” – Taek Yeon.
“What is there bugging your mind, Taek?” – Jae Beom. Taek Yeon shakes his head. “You missed her, don’t you?”
“Hyeong....” – Taek Yeon.
“Never mind about that. Go to the car.” – Jae Beom. Both of them left the house and headed to the car.



On their way to the shooting area, Nichkhun who sat beside the window staring to the outside view suddenly saw something that made his eyes became so huge. And at what he saw that made him shocked clearly were Hae Ji and Ki Kwang at the coffee shop enjoying their caffeine.


“HAE JI!!” – Nichkhun, he blurted Hae Ji name out loud where it made the others jumped in surprised.
“WHERE!!?” – Everyone at the same time.
“THERE!! AT THE COFFEE SHOP WITH AJ!!” – Nichkhun.
“AJ!!?” – Everyone shout on the same time.
“What is she doing with AJ’s?!!” – Woo Young.
“The question is when did she return?” – Chan Sung. “I want to get out of this car. AHJUSSHI, STOP THE CAR!!” But the driver kept on driving forward and didn’t stop at all.
“What is she doing with him?” – Taek Yeon, he thought. “Would she remember all of us? Would she remember me? Those words she has said to me on that time, it still fresh in my mind. How could I ever forget about it? “Please, continue on with your life; never think about me or anything that involved about me.” I always thought of her, she’s always in my heart. It breaks my heart just to think about it.” He kept on murmured to his mind.
“Taek Yeon. We’re here. Come, let’s go.” – Jae Beom. Taek Yeon zoned back to reality and slowly he and Jae Beom stepped out of the car. When they did, all they can hear were all of the fans screaming their names. They kept on moving forward and when they entered the building, they sighed with relief.
“They sure can scream like those.” – Chan Sung.
“Fans.” – Jun Ho.

At the coffee shop –


“Oppa, I don’t know but somehow, its so déjà vu, it felt like I have been here. But I clearly couldn’t recall it.” – Hae Ji.
“Didn’t you say before you got amnesia?” – Ki Kwang. Hae Ji nodded.
“That’s the problem. I-I don’t know oppa, head hurts whenever I think about this.” – Hae Ji. Ki Kwang hugged her right away that instant to calm her down.
“Baby doll, I’m just right here. I’ll take good care of you.” – Ki Kwang. Slowly he let go of the hugged, he looked at Hae Ji then he kissed her on the lips. “Please, cheer up? I missed the joyful side of you.” Hae Ji smiled at him. Slowly she lowered her head and stared at the necklace she wore around her neck – the silver diamond necklace that she has been wearing all the times.
“Ahh, oppa. Don’t you have schedule today? I hope I’m not disturbing you.” – Hae Ji. Ki Kwang touched Hae Ji cheeks and rubbed it with his thumb.
“I don’t have one today, love. And I wanted to spend my whole day with you.” – Ki Kwang. Hae Ji giggled. All of sudden he stood up. “Let’s go back to my place, shall we?”
“Sure oppa.” – Hae Ji. That instant, Ki Kwang took Hae Ji hand and holds it tight.



On their way to Ki Kwang’s apartment, they walked pass through CD’s store and outside the store window showed, it has big poster of a boy group called 2PM. Hae Ji stopped all of sudden and stared at the poster and she kept on observing it.


“Something wrong, Hae Ji?” – Ki Kwang.
“Oppa, 2PM?” – Hae Ji. She turned around looking at Ki Kwang with inquisitive looked on her face. “Oppa, somehow I....in my dream, I know them and they were much closed to me, especially him.” She pointed her index finger at Jae Beom.
“That’s Park Jae Beom, Hae Ji. Does that dream felt real to you?” – Ki Kwang. Hae Ji nodded.
“Everything in that dream to me was real oppa. I’m not sure...” – Hae Ji.
“Do you want to meet them? I know them, we’re friends. Maybe by then, it will answer everything.” – Ki Kwang.
“Oppa, really? Thank you...!!” – Hae Ji, she jumped and hugged Ki Kwang tightly. He turned his head around and kissed her cheeks.
“For my baby doll, you’re always welcome.” – Ki Kwang.
“Oppa, I love you so much.” – Hae Ji.
“You know I do love you as much as this heart can hold endlessly.” – Ki Kwang.



That night –

Ki Kwang being topless and only wore short pants, walked out from his room heading to the kitchen. Slowly he opened the refrigerator door and shifted his eyes observing everything that’s there. He spotted mango juice; right away he took it out and drank it through the carton. While doing it, as he turned around, he saw Hae Ji stood there and it made him jumped that he nearly spit it out.


“Why don’t you drink it through glass, oppa.” – Hae Ji, she stood there with her arms crossing with each others, wearing oversized white clothes that covered half of her thighs which it belonging to Ki Kwang.



Ki Kwang grinned at Hae Ji and put back inside the refrigerator. After that, quickly he grabbed her by the waist then he lifted her up and put her sitting on the kitchen counter table. Slowly he leaned his body closer to her while putting his arms around her waist and locked it up whilst she put her arms locked around his neck. He moved upwards until he reached Hae Ji’s head, he started to kiss her.
They kept on kissing in the kitchen but stopped when the house phone rang. Ki Kwang ran to the living room to pick it up. Then slowly Hae Ji stepped down then walked to the living room at where Ki Kwang’s at.


“Hello....” – Ki Kwang.
“AJ...Hey.” – Jae Beom.
“Ahh, Jae hyeong. You received my text messaged finally. And I thought you didn’t receive it.” – Ki Kwang. He continued; “Regarding at what I texted you in my message, when do you think the best for me to introduce her to you guys?”
“The next day after tomorrow will be okay for us.” – Jae Beom.
“That would be great then. So I’ll see you guys soon then.” – Ki Kwang. He ended the phone and put it back on the coffee table. Then he threw himself to the sofa. He turned around his head and Hae Ji smiled at him. “Those guys are silly, I am sure you’ll like them.” He smiled at her.



Then suddenly there’s a knocked on the door. Ki Kwang quickly went to his room to get his clothes on meanwhile Hae Ji went to the door and opened it. Surprised she’s to see a girl stood right there.


“No wonder Ki Kwang crazy for her. She is like divine angel. I couldn’t see any flaw. Whoah, Ki Kwang. If she was the one who you always told me whenever you missed him, then it’s not a mistaken anymore. I got your side, Ki Kwang.” – ???, she thought.
“Hello there. You must be Ki oppa friend.” – Hae Ji. The girl just nodded then Hae Ji invited her in. The seconds she entered the place, Ki Kwang came out from the room with his clothes on already.
“Gwok Dan? What are you doing here? Don’t tell me you and Taek had a fight again?” – Ki Kwang. She nodded.
“I don’t know Ki. Lately, he acted so different. I don’t know anymore. It has been a year we have been together, but why until now? I don’t know if his feelings are the same like before anymore. I don’t know, Ki.” – Gwok Dan. She continued in such upsetting tone; “I don’t know. Maybe he has someone else already.”
“Oh Gwok Dan, don’t say like that. Taek Yeon must be tired of something. Cheer up, Gwok Dan.” – Ki Kwang. Gwok Dan sighed heavily.
“I hope so.” – Gwok Dan.




Two days later, when they reached the destination, Hae Ji’s all nervous when Ki Kwang rang the bell then slowly he calmed her down by kissing her. In the midst of kissing each others, the front door’s opened and Chan Sung stood there with his eyes widened up.


“Oh Ki Kwang. What are you doing kissing in front of our doors?” – Chan Sung. Ki Kwang grinned then when Hae Ji turned around, Chan Sung was shocked to see the petite girl that dressed very high classy and clearly stated the flawless and beautiful in her.
“Chan Sung, what happened to you? You looked like just someone that just saw a ghost.” – Ki Kwang. He continued; “Don’t you want to invite us inside?”
“Oh...yeah. Please, come in.” – Chan Sung.
“Whoah, this place never changes at all.” – Ki Kwang, he stepped in with Hae Ji beside him. Everyone that’s in the living room except Jae Beom and Jun Su, one by one stood up when they saw Ki Kwang with Hae Ji. They looked at each others in silent and when Jae Beom and Jun Su showed up from the kitchen, Jae Beom who brought along a bowl of chips, he nearly drops it. Ki Kwang smiled. “Hey guys, I brought her here because she said she seems to know you guys. But the whole times, she was at the State – weird, ehh?”



The boys became silent at what Ki Kwang has said, they looked at each others. Jae Beom shoved the bowl at Jun Su then he paced forwards.


“Ki Kwang.” – Jae Beom.
“Ahh, hyeong.” – Ki Kwang. “There you are. Guys, I want you to meet someone. She is the one that I told you guys.” Hae Ji bowed down at them.
“I’m Hae Ji, nice to meet all of you.” – Hae Ji. None say anything at all. But then Jun Su walked forward and the one that broke the silent.
“Kim Jun Su, nice to meet you.” – Jun Su. He smiled at her. “If she’s the same Hae Ji of Park Jae Beom sister, why couldn’t I see a line of scar on her right side of her cheeks?” He thought. He kept on staring at her while she looked at the others. Then Woo Young approached her.
“Jang Woo Young. You can call me Woo for short.” – Woo Young. The others just kept quiet but Nichkhun brought his guts and walked forwards.
“Nichkhun, but people always called me Khun.” – Nichkhun, he smiled. Taek Yeon, Jun Ho and Chan Sung just watched them and didn’t do anything at all. Jae Beom saw Taek Yeon expression; he couldn’t say anything at all but just being silent.



Later –

While Hae Ji, Ki Kwang and the rest at the living room, Taek Yeon and Jun Su in the kitchen couldn’t believe it.


“What is this, Taek? Is it a joke? Why?” – Jun Su.
“If this is somehow a look-a-like Hae Ji...” – Taek Yeon, he didn’t finish it when Jun Su cut it off.
“Taek!! Face it, it’s not her. Even if they have the similar name, Taek, that’s not her. Face it.” – Jun Su. He continued; “If that is really the sister of Jae Beom; Hae Ji that we know, she would remember us. But I don’t see there if she did remember us, not even her own brother. That’s not her, Taek.”
“No, I know...I have the feelings that her. The necklace she wore around her neck, that silver diamond necklace I gave that on her birthday. That’s one in a million, it’s special made. It cannot be a mistake, Jun Su, it cannot be!! I know my eyes.” – Taek Yeon. “If that is not her, then tell me how she can get that necklace?”
“........” – Jun Su, silent. “Then why, Taek, why she couldn’t remember us?”
“Please, I don’t know either. I just don’t, this just happened so sudden. She left just like that a year ago then, poof!! Just like that, she appears like falling from the sky sudden. Doesn’t this make a bit strange to you and to me? Define it, so much in so many levels.” – Taek Yeon. Not long, Chan Sung showed up and he looked very worried.
“Hyeong....why couldn’t she remember me?” – Chan Sung, he looked very upset. Both Taek Yeon and Jun Su sighed heavily. “If this is one big coincidence, I don’t want it to be true.”



After a long stayed at 2PM place, on their way home they stopped by the restaurant the 2PM boys always go. They went in and after they found and empty seat, they slowly sat down and one of the waiter approached them after handed them the menu.


“I know you.” – ???. Hae Ji surprised that the waiter know her but she didn’t know him at all. And not far from their seat, someone who just saw Hae Ji, he quickly got up and walked to their seat.
“Hae Ji...? Is that you?” – ???
“I am Hae Ji, but you are.......?” – Hae Ji.
