Future life:


“What day is today?!!” – Dae Sung.
“It’s Monday, Dae Sung. Today is the day that we will be going to attend our second year at University. I cannot wait.” – Ji Yong.
“So....Are we still going to be in the same class this year? Despite that last year we peeved nearly the entire Lecturer.” – Seung Ri.
“*laughing* hey, we do need to leave our mark.” – Seung Hyun.
“I know....sigh, but hey, they still “love” us, doesn’t they?” – Ji Yong, laughing.
“Speaking of our new year here, where is Young Bae?” – Dae Sung.



Meanwhile... –

“I hope you think about this again, Young Bae. It is a good opportunity for your further study.” – Mr Dong.
“I don’t know appa. I already like where I am studying at and I am comfortable with it. Beside, all of my friends are all there. I cannot just leave them like this. Can I just do it after I graduate?” – Young Bae.
“I know you and the others are all here, but sooner or later, all of you go to different path. This is for your own good, Young Bae. It is your future and it is for your life as well. Think about it and I want you to give me the answer at the end of next month.” – Mr Dong.
“Seriousl?!! That is like.........60 days left for me? Why can’t you wait, appa? My graduation is like....not until at the end of this year?” – Young Bae.
“Young Bae....listen, you are my one and only son. You have to take over our family company in America. You are the only hope of the Dong family. If it’s not you, then who will be going to do it? I am not younger by the second any more, Young Bae. With the age you are now, you already suit enough to do it.” – Mr Dong.
“*breathe heavily* I’ll see what I can do, appa. I’ll think about it. But now, I get to go to UNI now or else, I’ll be tardy.” – Young Bae.



At class’s... –


“He is going to be late, isn’t he?” – Seung Hyun.
“He never come late...not until now. *laughing* he is the one that always remind us to go to school early, but now...see who is coming late...” – Seung Ri.
“He’ll make it on time....but maybe so, will this be his record?” – Ji Yong, laughing.
“*laughing* I remember when we skipped school, he was the only one who come to school. Yet the next day, we got punishment by the teacher.” – Dae Sung.
“Ahh!! I remember that...Okay, thanks Ji Yong, you are the one who made us skipped.” – Seung Ri.
“Yah!! That time, the class all day will be boredom!! But hey, it’s a worth skipping and we can go to an awesome place.” – Ji Yong.
“Hush!! You guys, shush....the teacher is coming.” – Dae Sung.


Quickly, they become good boys and take their seat before their teacher; Mrs Seul Yoon Ri saw them fooling in the class.
When Mrs Seul is about to start the lesson, the headmaster of the University; Mr Lee Teuk Gi come to their class with a new student.
He told her to introduce the new student to the class.
Just as he is about to leave the class, Young Bae enter the class at the same time.
He literally walks pass through Mrs Seul and the new student and didn’t realize they were there.


“Mr Dong Young Bae...” – Mrs Seul. When Young Bae hear his name been called by the teacher, he stops moving and turn around.
“Ahh!! I didn’t saw you there Mrs Seul.” – Young Bae.
“This is your first time coming late to class. So what is your excuse for this?” – Mrs Seul.
“My apologizes Mrs Seul. I have an urgent family problem. But now, I am here, that’s what important, right?” – Young Bae.
“Ahh, smart mouth. Seeing this is your first time, I’ll let you go this time. If you do this again the second time, just be prepare for punishment.” – Mrs Seul.
“Sure thing, Mrs Seul.” – Young Bae.


He quickly takes his seat which is next to Dae Sung.
Ji Yong seat is next to Seung Hyun which is located behind young Bae and Dae Sung.
On the right next to Ji Yong and Seung Hyun is Seung Ri seat and he has no partner – just an empty seat.
Mrs Seul is looking for an empty seat for the new student and when she saw an empty seat next to Seung Ri, she directly ask the new student to have the seat next to Seung Ri.



After class at lunch in the University cafeteria... –


“Hmm...mahn, I’m super starving.” – Young Bae.
“Hey...Didn’t you have your breakfast before?” – Seung Hyun.
“No....I didn’t have time to get some.” – Young Bae, choosing his lunch set either for the Set A or Set B.
“So why are you late?” – Dae Sung.


Just as Young Bae about to choose the Set B meal, someone already said it first and she chooses Set B meal.
When he is about to chooses the same set meal, it is already sold out.
He is so surprise that it is already sold out and she is lucky to have the last one.


“Yah!! How come it is sold out already? I always eat the Set B meal!!” – Young Bae.
“Ahh....I’m sorry Young Bae. But it is not your turn this time, eii?!! But hey, Set A meal is nearly the same as the Set B meal one. Why don’t you pick that one then?” – Owner.
“Aishhh, Mrs Koh!! You know me; I only choose the Set B meal. Can you just....” – Young Bae.
“I’m sorry Young Bae. She got it first....next time then?” – Owner; Mrs Koh.


When Mrs Koh point to the next person, Young Bae turn around and look at the one that just “stole” the Set B meal from him.
He stare at her but she didn’t know Young Bae is staring at her while she is busy waiting for her lunch set.
Young Bae observes her from bottom to top and not just that, she is listening to IPod while waiting for her lunch set.


“Just choose other set, Young Bae. All of us are so hungry and now we are only waiting for you.” – Seung Ri.
“So...Set A meal then, Young Bae?” – Mrs Koh.
“Aish....okay, give me the Set A meal then. Even if this is killing me...” – Young Bae.


After Young Bae got his lunch on hand, he walk down to the usual table and that is where all five of them enjoying their meal everyday at the University.
Just as Young Bae about to eat his meal, the girl who got the last Set B meal is looking for an empty set and there is no available for her to sit down.
Ji Yong observing her while eating a sandwich. Somehow, he is eating it fast.
Suddenly, he stands up and walk heading to where the girl is.


“Hey...you are the new student that Mr Lee brought you to the class earlier, right? Hmm, what is your name again...? Aaa...ahh!! Park Hye Koh....am I right?” – Ji Yong.
“Ahh.....erm. Yes, you are right. And you are...Kwon Ji Yong, right?” – Hye Koh.
“You can call me Ji Yong, only.” – Ji Yong, he looks at the tray that she is holding which her food haven’t touch yet, and quickly he invites her to join the gang.
“Hey...Ji Yong. Who and what in the world are you dragging her here?” – Young Bae, being rude at the same time he is enjoying his meal. He didn’t even bother to turn around.
“Hey....don’t talk like that!! What is wrong with you today, Young Bae?” – Seung Ri, who sits next to him shove his elbow at Young Bae.
“What?!! I’m just saying....like, yeah...we didn’t even know her, so why should we drag her here?” – Young Bae.
“Yah....are you okay? Or you have slight fever? What happens to you is our topic now...” – Seung Hyun.
“The only one I know that can be like rude tone is Seung Hyun. But what I heard now is not from him but from you Young Bae.” – Dae Sung.
“Yah!! I’m right here!! And what that suppose to mean, eii?!!” – Seung Hyun.
“Ahh...please, not now Young Bae. She is our classmate; it is no harm in it.” – Ji Yong.
“Ji Yong-ahh....if this is bad time, then maybe I should go.” – Hye Koh.
“Ahh...Hye Koh....” – Ji Yong, fail to stop her to stay.
“Aish....Young Bae. Seriously, what is wrong with you today?” – Ji Yong, take his seat back.
“I’m done eating....I’m off now.” – Young Bae, standing up and leaving the cafeteria just like that.
“Seriously, he is ignoring it and major avoiding it!!” – Dae Sung.


When Young Bae steps out of the cafeteria, he saw Hye Koh standing near the window and enjoying her meal.
She didn’t even get mad at what happen and just face the fact that she is not welcome here.
Just like before, in the past, she has never been welcome.



Young Bae p.o.v:
Just as I step out of the cafeteria to head to the car, I saw her.
Her...the one who stole the last Set B meal.
Eii...after all I have insulted her back there, she still not angry? Or do anything worst at me?
Hah....they should be, after at what I have just said.
But this time....her, she is so different.
Hmm, I wonder why she didn’t go angry at me.


But something weird feelings when I saw her face.
Hmm....she reminds me of someone.
I don’t know...it must have be my wild imagination or what, but....I just feel surreal something about her reminds me of someone.
I just....so wonder about his, lots.
I slowly walk forwards while I stare at her.
Hmm, she must be too busy eating and didn’t aware of me being her.
Eh...what was her name again?

Hye Koh p.o.v:
Hmm....I guess papa has made another wrong decision of me studying at this place again.
If papa thinks I can make friends her, then he is wrong.
But hey, even if papa wanted me to be here just to make friends...and if I can’t make one, but I can ace the subjects.
So that’s more important than ever.
My future my life....I don’t care about people being cold shoulder here anymore, what important is I graduate flying colors.
*laughing* I believe they must hate me because I got.....
:BANG!!:
Huh?!! What is that sound?
I turn around and saw someone not far from me on the ground.
Oh gosh, did he fall down just now?
I quickly run towards him.
“Ahh....are you alright?”
“Mahn...I should have looked at where I am going.” – Young Bae.
Eii...it’s him.
Ji Yong’s friend who insulted me back there at the cafeteria.
“Ahh...Ji Yong’s friend...are you alright?”
“Yah!! Go away!! And I got name!!” – Young Bae.
Why is he being mean to me?
Did I do something to him that make him hated me?
I don’t know.
“Why....do you hate me so much?”
“YES!! I hate you, understand?!!” – Young Bae.
“I don’t understand...”
“I don’t either...” – Young Bae.
Both of us suddenly stare with each others eyes deeply for seconds.
“Hye Koh? Hey...are you out here?” – Ji Yong.
Ji Yong?
I quickly turn to other way and saw Ji Yong.
“Ji Yong-ahh...hey...”

Ji Yong p.o.v:
Young Bae such rude one today.
I hope Hye Koh didn’t take it to the heart though.
I wonder where she is now...I hope she is alright.
I step out of the cafeteria in hope she is near.
“Hye Koh? Hey...are you out here?”
Eh...Young Bae?
What is he doing on the floor...with Hye Koh?
“Ah...there you are Hye Koh. I have been looking all over for you.”
“Ah...Ji yong-ahh....” – Hye Koh, she quickly standing up.
“Hey....what are you doing here with Young Bae?”
“Yah!! What is that suppose to mean?” – Young Bae, standing up.
“You know what I mean, Young Bae. The first thing you were so rude. Then the next thing, you are all....”
“Eii!! WHAT is that suppose to mean? Are you trying to say I was making a move at....her?!! As if...not in my life!!” – Young Bae.
“Ehh....seriously, what is wrong with you? You have been like this since....the morning.”
“No!! Nothing is wrong...whatever you want to think, Ji Yong. I’m off leaving.” – Young Bae.
“Ehh...wait!! Aren’t you going to class?”
“No...I’m off to somewhere.” – Young Bae.
“Is he okay, Ji Yong?” – Hye Koh.
“I don’t know....I just....so wonder....”

“Ji Yong-ahh.....is it that I’m the one that made him like that?” – Hye Koh.
“.......Why do you say like that? No, this has nothing got to do with you.” – Ji Yong.
“If it is so...why did I feel his hatred comes from me?” – Hye Koh. “But face it Ji Yong....I already got used to this. So it is not a big matter for me.”
“But it is a big matter to me if Young Bae somehow always gives you the cold shoulder treatment. Don’t worry....we are friend, right?” – Ji Yong.
“Eh...friend? I never had.....friend before.” – Hye Koh.
“Well then, that makes me the first one, right? So friend, right?” – Ji Yong, raise his pinky up.
“...........Sure, if that is....then, yeah.” – Hye Koh, smiling and tied her pinky with Ji Yong’s.

“What is wrong....?”
“Is something bothering you...?”
