Episode 5

I want to live.....
That was the words that she always said....



“Thanks Kim Hae for bringing me back to my ward room.” – Yun Park.
“Don’t worry, it’s alright. Because friend always help friend, right?” – Kim Hae, smiling at Yun Park.
“Thank you, Kim Hae. I’m going to have my rest now....I’ll see you next time...” – Yun Park.


Just as she is about to push the wheel to go inside the room, someone not far from where they are at is running approaching her.
Kim Hae and Yun Park look at the same direction and he is getting closer.


“Yun Park!!” – Seung Hyun.
“Oppa....? What are you doing here? How.....do you know I’m here?” – Yun Park.
“I’m Seung Hyun. Of course I know where you are.” – Seung Hyun.
“*chuckle* you hasn’t change, do you? You still are the same, oppa.” – Yun Park.
“Hei....how are you?” – Seung Hyun, approaching Yun Park then he squat in front of her with one of his knee touching the floor.
“Oppa....next question...” – Yun Park.
“I........” – Seung Hyun, didn’t finish his sentence when Yun Park cut it off.
“I’m tired, I need my rest....can we talk this other time?” – Yun Park. Seung Hyun just nodded as he standing up and pulls the wheel chair inside the ward.
“Aaaaahh, I feel like dreaming. Is that really T.O.P of the Big Bang?!!” – Kim Hae, stun.



“When you wake up, I will still be here.” – Seung Hyun.
“Why?” – Yun Park, lain on the bed.
“Because....I promised you before.” – Seung Hyun.
“Oppa........I cannot promise you....” – Yun Park.
“........Rest now, alright?” – Seung Hyun. She just nodded as her eyes slowly shutting down.


“Please....erase me from your memory.
Please.....forget about my existence.
Please....forget about the time we spent with together.
Please......nothing more I needed.
Just.....forget me.


But....why can’t you?”



“.........” – Yun Park, just wake up from her sleeping. She looks around and saw no one. Slowly she stands up to sit. “What time is it, already?”
“Ahh....hey, you finally awake...” – Yun Jae.
“Eonnie?!!” – Yun Park.
“Yes of course, who else would it be...Oh by the way; Seung Hyun wanted me to pass the note saying he will be here again later. He has to catch up with something.” – Yun Jae.
“...........Se....Hyu...” – Yun Park. “Ahh......Hyu......”
“Yun Park? Are you alright?!! Don’t you remember who Seung Hyun is?” – Yun Jae.
“...........Se....who is Seu.......eonnie?” – Yun Park.


Yun Jae started to become panic and without wasting anymore time, she called the doctor.
Minute later, the doctor come with the nurse and other supplier.
The doctor immediately makes a check up at Yun Jae.
After everything has done, the doctor has the results.


“The condition Yun Park is having now has increasing to the next stage where her memory suddenly will be erasing and soon, she won’t be remembering anyone, even her name and everything. Slowly, this will lead to the malfunction of her brain and the way she is talking will be breaking language and slow in responding, which that will affect all of her body system soon. It will become worsen and by that time, nothing can help her at that stage anymore. I’ll say...it is best for you to spend time with her when she still remembers you.” – Doctor. Yun Jae shocks at what the doctor just told her. She just nodded and walk back to Yun Park ward room.
“Ahh...eonnie....” – Yun Park, greeting Yun Jae as she’s entering the room.
“Hey dongsaeng....” – Yun Jae, smiling at her, even so by forcing it.
“.....Eon....nie, why are you....sad?” – Yun Park. Yun Jae shakes her head as she tries to hold her tears from flowing down her cheeks.
“Are you hungry? I can go buy something for you to eat.” – Yun Jae.
“......No....it’s alright. I’m....not hungry....eon...nie.” – Yun Park.
“.......Yun Park.....” – Yun Jae.
“.......Eon....nie...smile....please?” – Yun Park.


When hearing Yun Park saying like that, Yun Jae cannot hold her tears but to let it go.
Yun Park keeps on asking her the same question but she is denying it and quickly wipes the tears off.



The next day... –
Morning has arisen... –


“.........” – Yun Park, she slowly open her eyes. The nurse that is there in her room is greeting her Good Morning just as soon as she saw Yun Park waking up.
“Good....Morning.....to you.....too...” – Yun Park.
“And good morning to you too, Yun Park.” – Seung Hyun, just come while bringing flower along with him. Yun Park stare and observing Seung Hyun for a long time but still she fail to remember him.
“.......Good.....Morning.....but, I......don’t know.....you.” – Yun Park.
“!!!!!!!” – Seung Hyun, shock as he slowly drop the flower to the floor.
“Yun Park....I bring you......” – Yun Jae, didn’t finish her sentence as she just came saw Seung Hyun dropping the flower to the floor. “Seung Hyun...?”


What is wrong?
What is happening?
Why couldn’t she remember me?


Seung Hyun couldn’t believe his eyes, and just like that he storm out the room and run off to somewhere.
Yun Jae tries to catch him up but he is already gone too fast.


“Eon..........nie.....who......is that?” – Yun Park.
“He is someone that cares about you very much. But now.....don’t worry about it, alright?” – Yun Jae.
“.......Some....one who.......care.....about me? But......why couldn’t..........I......remember....him? Why....eon.....nie, why?” – Yun Park.
“.......I.....” – Yun Jae.
“Why..........is....he running.....away? Didn’t.........he want.....to see.....me? You........said.....he.......care.....about....me.....but, why...........do......I see....he......seems......shocked?!!” – Yun Park.
“He must be shocked because he doesn’t know yet, dongsaeng.” – Yun Jae.
“Does........he.........hate.....me?” – Yun Park.
“No!! He could never hate you, dongsaeng.” – Yun Jae.
“.........The.....why, eon........nie....why?” – Yun Park. “Eon.......nie......tell......me the..........truth.”
“............” – Yun Jae.
“Please.........be.....hon....est, tell.........me....I won’t........be.......here.....alive.....anymore.....lon....ger.....will.......I? I......know.....my condition.....I, realizes.........that.......” – Yun Park. “I.....know.....it won’t be long for me anymore....It’s getting worsen. Now, I don’t want anyone to hide it from me anymore because there is no use of them doing that.”

“No...Please don’t say like that....” – Yun Jae.
“......Am.....I.....right, eon.....nie?” – Yun Park.
“Let’s go out tomorrow...just the two of us, just as I promised to you.” – Yun Jae.
“........Am....I allowed.....to....go....out.....eon....nie?” – Yun Park.
“Yes, the doctor says its okay, but just this time she said again.” – Yun Jae.
“......I.....cannot.....wait.....for......that......eon....nie.....” – Yun Park. Yun Jae nodded and smile at her.



The next day... –

When Yun Jae come to the hospital as today the day where the both of them going out together, as she enter Yun Park ward, Yun Park is already dress up.
Yun Jae smile seeing her sister smile and she smile back to Yun Park.


“....Eon.....nie.....” – Yun Park.
“You look beautiful, as usual dongsaeng.” – Yun Jae.
“.....Thank......you, eon.....nie.” – Yun Jae.
“Shall we go?” – Yun Jae. Yun Park just nodded agreeing.



At the city... –


“Where do you want to go, Yun Park?” – Yun Jae, slowly pushing the wheel chair forward.
“.........Any....where...eon....nie....” – Yun Park.
“Hmm, how about the usual café we used to go, dongsaeng?” – Yun Jae. Yun Park just nodded and she continues to push the wheel chair.


Upon arriving at the destination, somehow it is a wrong time for them to be where lots of people surrounding outside the café.
It is the day where Big Bang is doing their interview at the same café that Yun Jae and Yun Park going to be at.
Standing outside not far from the commotions, they just stared at it and Yun Jae sighed.


“......What....is......happening.....there.....eon....nie? Why......are.....there.....lots....of...people....there.....?” – Yun Park.
“There is an interview going on there, dongsaeng. We cannot be here at the moment.” – Yun Jae.
“......An....inter....view?” – Yun Park.
“Do you remember Seung Hyun, Yun Park?” – Yun Jae.
“...........Se....Hyu...” – Yun Park. “.....Who......is........Hyu.....eon....nie...?”
“He is someone that cares about you very much, Yun Park. And he is just right over there doing the interview with his friends.” – Yun Jae.
“......He.....is......known......by......many........people? Why......is......someone......like......him care......about.....me?” – Yun Park.
“...............” – Yun Jae.
“....Eon......nie.....can......we.......go.........somewhere......else.......?” – Yun Park.
“Sure, Yun Park.” – Yun Jae.


Just as Yun Jae about to push the wheel chair, at the same time Seung Hyun from inside the café saw the two of them.
Directly he runs off to the both of them.
His action makes everyone going curious and confuse at why he is acting like that.
Ji Yong and the other have nothing to say because they know the best for him.


“Yun Park!! Yun Jae!! Please, wait.” – Seung Hyun.
“Ahh, Seung Hyun-shhi.” – Yun Jae.
“Please, there is no need to be formal with me.” – Seung Hyun.
“.......Don’t you think this is the wrong time? I mean, look. Everyone eyes on us, this......” – Yun Jae, didn’t finish her sentence.
“Why should be bother by them? Is that important?” – Seung Hyun.
“To me it is not, but what do you think if the others know it was all about you and Yun Park? If this keep on happening, worst thing occurs and I’m afraid.........” – Yun Jae.
“I won’t let that happen for sure. Do not worry, trust me.” – Seung Hyun.



At the hospital... –

After they have return from the outing, Yun Park suddenly feeling tired.


“......Eon.....nie.....I.....need.........to.....sleep.....can....I.....rest.....now?” – Yun Park. Yun Jae just smile and slowly helps her getting to bed.
“So then you have a good night rest, alright? I’ll see you when you wake up, alright?” – Yun Jae. Yun Park just smiles and slowly she closing her eyes.



One fine day when Yun Park strolling outside at the park, as she is pushing her wheel chair to go to the pond, not far from where she is, are standing Kim Hae and Seung Hyun.
Yun Park saw it but she didn’t bother enough to know – whether she remember or not, she just move forward.


“Ehh...Yun Park?!!” – Seung Hyun. Quickly he run to where Yun Park is at and left Kim Hae behind.
“Oppa..!!” – Kim Hae, as she running after Seung Hyun.
“Yun Park....I came here to visit you.” – Seung Hyun. Yun Park just stared at him without saying anything. She looks so confused.


Both of them stare at each other without saying anything.
Seung Hyun slowly carves a smile on his face as he knows that even so Yun Park is like that, she still can speak.
Just not by making a sound but from connects by heart.


“You.....came for me?”
I miss you....do you miss me?
“I’m sorry.....”
For what?
“For....forgetting you in my life.”
Do you remember me now?
“Should I?”
Do you....want to remember me?
“Do you?”
I do. I always remember you. You play important role in my life.
“What role is that? Why do you choose me?”
Because you...whom I love.
“Why me?”
Is saying I love you is enough to prove it?
“Thank you.”
For what?
“For still loving me, even so I cannot remember you anymore.”
Is now still consider?
“Is it to you?”
Every time and always.
“Thank you.”



Smile.....
