“If I may for the last time....I always want to say thank you for all this time.”



January 4th... –
At Dong’s place... –


“Hey....are you......” – Min Jung, helping Young Bae packing his stuff.
“...........” – Young Bae, ignoring Min Jung and continue packing.
“Young Bae..... “ – Min Jung. Young Bae sighs heavily and stops packing.
“.........Min Jung, do me a favor? Please.....go home.” – Young Bae.
“Ehh....?!!” – Min Jung.
“Why are you even here, Min Jung? Was it just because of Ji Yong....?” – Young Bae.
“...........” – Min Jung, didn’t say anything at all. Quickly she grabs her jacket and heading to the door.
“Aishh....Why do I even bother?!!” – Young Bae, stop packaging as he heading to the door and catching up to Min Jung.


Min Jung walks so fast, as fast as she can without looking back.
She seems so angry since she left Young Bae’s place.
And when she knew it, Young Bae is behind her catching her off.
Just as she is about to cross the zebra line wanting to go to the other side of the street, Young Bae caught her up as he grabs her hand.


“Just....please, wait Min Jung...!!” – Young Bae.
“Why should I?” – Min Jung.
“Because....sigh, just please, don’t make this harder.” – Young Bae.
“What...?!! Me? I’m making this....everything harder? I just try to help, but no, no one appreciates my help anymore.” – Min Jung.
“Min Jung!!” – Young Bae, holding both of her upper arms.
“........Leave me alone, Young Bae.” – Min Jung, swiping away Young Bae hands away from her. Then just like that she walking off, heading to her place.


Again, Young Bae letting go of heavy sighs after Min Jung has gone off.
He turn around and heading back to his place.
On his way home, he is using the bridge way path that will leading to his place.
It is the same bridge where he threw the ring away.
In the middle of the bridge, he stops and standing at the edge of the bridge.
He stares to the water lake flowing smoothly.
But something attracting him when he saw someone wearing a white dress and down below near the lake.
She is wearing white ribbon tie on her head, but slowly she takes it off and let it fly away.
But then the ribbon don’t flew far away where at the end it drops to the water and flow with it.
It is attracting Young Bae eyes, but then something makes him worried. He didn’t waste his time as he run towards the girl.
Just as he has arrives, the girl turn around about to leave.
He kind of to shock to see her, but she seems to ignores him and just walk forward.
It seems like, he is not even there.


“Hyun Hae....?!!” – Young Bae.
“............” – Hyun Hae.


She just move forward but then just as Young Bae about to say something to her, Ji Yong just show up and he seems to be in a rush.
He stops in front of Hyun Hae as he is panting and breath heavily.
She didn’t do anything but just stood there looking at Ji Yong.
Directly, Ji Yong grabs her hand and starts to run off again to the same way he came from.


“Ahh...” – Young Bae. “Ji Yong...”
“.........” – Ji Yong, he stops when he heard someone calling his name. Slowly he turns around and found out it was Young Bae who just called him. He looks a bit stun when he sees Young Bae. He feels so hesitates in choosing now but at the end, he chooses the path to leave. He starts to run leaving Young Bae behind.
“Ji Yong!!” – Young Bae, he tries to catches with them, but he fail to move. “Why even I try?!! I have lost everything, even my best friend. He doesn’t want to be around me anymore, since couple of years in the past. Am I too late already, Ji Yong?”


Know he knows already, he didn’t bother to catch up with them.
He turns around and use the other way as it is the right path that will lead to his place.
Slowly, Young Bae smiles just when he stares to the sky.



Why are you running away?
Today is supposed to be your check up day.
Don’t you want to be recovered?
Don’t you want to be like before?



Ji Yong didn’t let go of Hyun Hae hands until they have arrives at his place.
He storm into his house but stop in the middle of the living room.
There, he is still holding his hand standing in front of her.
He didn’t move at all, just stood like a frozen statue.
But slowly, he let go of her hand.



I am no use....
No use of anything.
I have tried...everything.
But....I failed.
Everything has gone wrong and it will never become right again.
It will never be like before.



Ji Yong falls sitting on the ground as both of his palm pushes down on the floor.
He punches with his right hand to the floor as hard as it is that it is making very loud thump noise. “Why...?”
As his head on the ground, he starts to cry at the same time he punches the floor, again.
But at what he didn’t know, Hyun Hae is standing right in front of him.
Slowly she lowering her body down as the same height as Ji Yong, she moves her hand towards his head down to his cheeks.
He’s shocking to know, then directly he looks up at Hyun Hae as she is smiling to him.
At that time, she slowly moves her face closer to his and kisses his forehead.
Ji Yong is so surprise at the same time he is feeling so happy that he hugs Hyun Hae immediately.



“Ji Yong....why are you crying?” – Hyun Hae, gentle tone as she smiles at him.
“Because...I am scared that you leave me...” – Ji Yong.
“Ji Yong...I’m not leaving you. I already promised you, remember?” – Hyun Hae.
“But.....I just....so scared, so weak thinking about it. It pains me...so much.” – Ji Yong.
“Forgive me?” – Hyun Hae.
“Always be at my side.....please.” – Ji Yong.



“Ji Yong...can you promise me?”
As long as you can promise me one thing.
“What is it...?”
Always to be around me....
“Ji Yong....Thank you.”



Please....no more crying?
Hyun Hae....
“You never mention my name before...”




Hyun Hae....
I love you.
