Part 30



“What are you doing with that?” – Hae Ji.
“What?” – Taek Yeon, he looked back at the one he held and started to grinned. “Oh...you mean this soft thing?”
“Wait, what’s with the grinned on your face? Oppa, you better give me back that bear.” – Hae Ji.
“Well...I wanted to give it back to you, but then....” – Taek Yeon, he started to run off. “Catch me first...if that is you can...!!” He laughed maniacally as he left the kitchen. Hae Ji started to run chasing after Taek Yeon.
“YOU SKYSCRAPER!! Give it back to me!!” – Hae Ji.



Meanwhile they acted like little kids running around the house, Chan Sung went to his own world as he saw the lasagna baking in the oven. His eyes didn’t blink out and even when Woo Young called his name, he couldn’t hear it no more. Nichkhun who sat reading a magazine at the living room witnessed two people ran around in circle and he tried to ignore it but at the end he ended up watching them two. He chuckled when Hae Ji finally got Taek Yeon as she jumped onto him and they fell down to the floor.


“Do you ever think that you can get away from me?” – Hae Ji. Quickly she took the bear away from Taek Yeon hand and stood up. She walked away in such happy face whilst cuddled the bear.
“Geez, she wrestled me.” – Taek Yeon, slowly he gets up and sat down on the floor. Nichkhun laughed.
“When it comes to her stuff, she always got it. She is so win.” – Nichkhun. He turned around and looked at Hae Ji. “Looked at her, she’s like little girl when she’s with that bear. I admit, she does look very cute. Oh wait, she always like that.”
“Ehh...Khun?” – Taek Yeon.
“Ahh, yeah?” – Nichkhun.
“Aish...nothing.” – Taek Yeon, he scrubbed his head then falls lay on the floor back.
“Taek Yeon, get up from the floor. Don’t lie down, it’s unhygienic.” – Jae Beom.
“Hyeong, I’m lazy to get up, beside let me just rest for once?” – Taek Yeon.
“Yes, you can rest. And no, not in the floor. Go lie down on the sofa or somewhere else that’s pretty much hygienic, Taek.” – Jae Beom. Taek Yeon stood up with a groaned then he ran to the sofa and threw himself on it. “Are you going to wreck the sofa, Taek? I suggest don’t do that.”
“Aish, hyeong.” – Taek Yeon.
“What “aish, hyeong.”? I mean it Taek.” – Jae Beom.
“Fine...I just shut up!!” – Taek Yeon.



Not long after, the others showed up. Jun Ho and Jun Su busied shoving each others arms behind Woo Young. Woo Young stopped moving when he smelt something good. Without wasting anymore, he ran to the kitchen and found out Chan Sung already munched half of the lasagna.


“What is that?” – Woo Young.
“Lasagna, of course. Hae Ji made it for me.” – Chan Sung, he kept on shoving the food to his mouth.
“You’re like a pig.” – Woo Young.
“Don’t be so jealous, Woo.” – Chan Sung, talked with his mouth full. Woo Young rolled his eyes and left the kitchen to the game room.



Meanwhile at the living room –


“I wonder if we get a Nintendo WII?” – Jae Beom, out of the blue. Everyone that was there stopped at what they’re doing and looked at Jae Beom.
“What hyeong? WII?” – Jun Ho.
“I prefer Nintendo DS.” – Jun Su.
“Oh nice hyeong. Let’s get us some Nintendo DS.” – Jun Ho, agreed with Jun Su.
“I called the green color.” – Jun Su.
“Hey, not fair!! I want the green one.” – Jun Ho.
“I called it first.” – Jun Su.
“Fine, I’ll get the red one.” – Jun Ho.
“Cooking Mama?” – Hae Ji, showed up from out of no where.
“Hae Ji, come sit here next to me.” – Jae Beom, he tapped his hand on an empty sit next to him. Slowly she sits down next to him. “What do you think if we buy either Nintendo WII or DS?”
“Hmm...I don’t know oppa. We do have PS3 already. Do we need another game console?” – Hae Ji.
“I’m still getting my own DS.” – Jun Su.
“Oh oppa, are you going to get Cooking Mama?” – Hae Ji.
“Yes and the other game as well.” – Jun Su.
“Can I borrow for sometimes?” – Hae Ji.
“Wait up. You get excited for DS version instead of WII version?” – Jae Beom. Hae Ji nodded.
“Yes, I love the portable one instead, oppa.” – Hae Ji.
“You’re very biased one.” – Jae Beom. Hae Ji laughed.
“Are you still going to get the WII, hyeong?” – Jun Ho.
“It’s the planned.” – Jae Beom.
“Oppa, buy me DS as well?” – Hae Ji.
“Wait, what? I thought you’re going to borrow Jun Su DS if he buys one.” – Jae Beom.
“Well, yes. But I don’t want to bother him every time I want to play it. Please, buy me one?” – Hae Ji.
“Well, alright then.” – Jae Beom.
“Horay!!” – Hae Ji, she hugged him directly.



The next day, Jae Beom and Hae Ji stopped by at the game shop where it sells all kind of well-known games, from XBOX to SONY PlayStation, Nintendo, etc. When they stepped in, Hae Ji was in awed and amazed to see lots of games in the game shop. Meanwhile Jae Beom went to ask the shop assistant for a brand new Nintendo WII and as well as the DS version, Hae Ji lurked around the shop.


“Oh wow, this is game heaven.” – Hae Ji, still in amazed mode.
“Hello there. May I help you?” – Shop assistant 01.
“Ahh, well. I’m just surveying. I have my oppa there.” – Hae Ji.
“If you need anything, just ask one of us. We’ll be glad to assist you.” – Shop assistant 01.
“Alright, I will.” – Hae Ji. She continued moving until she stopped at where everything was all for Nintendo DS. Then she spotted two presences that were very familiar to her. Quickly she approached them. “What are you two doing here?” The two of them turned around and their eyes became widened when they saw Hae Ji.
“Ahh...Hae Ji.” – Jun Ho.
“You two seriously are going to buy them, ehh?” – Hae Ji.
“It has been decided already.” – Jun Su.
“Or...you two just couldn’t resist?” – Hae Ji.
“Well....either way.” – Jun Su, chuckled.
“Wait until oppa see the two of you.” – Hae Ji.
“Shh, don’t make any scene, baby.” – Jun Su.
“Awkward as much as I can say – oppa, don’t call me that again.” – Hae Ji. Jun Ho shoved his arm at Jun Su’s.
“Ouch.” – Jun Su.
“Keep your big mouth down, Jun Su!!” – Jun Ho.
“I’m going to where oppa is at.” – Hae Ji. Just as she’s about to walked off, both Jun Ho and Jun Su grabbed her and pulled towards them. “Don’t do that!!”
“Where are you going?” – Jun Su.
“To Jae oppa of course, what else? He’s calling me.” – Hae Ji.
“Jun Su, just let her go. If we don’t then Jae hyeong will notice.” – Jun Ho. Hae Ji hit their arms before she walked away.
“I’ll deal with you two oppas later.” – Hae Ji.
“Ouch, she punched real hard. It hurt...” – Jun Su.
“I got used to it already; I think Jae hyeong the one suffered it mostly.” – Jun Ho, he laughed.


“Ahh, hey. There you are. So...what do you think?” – Jae Beom. Hae Ji came and the first thing he saw was a big box contain the Nintendo WII and beside it was just a regular box that contain the Nintendo DS.
“Oppa...its beautiful.” – Hae Ji.
“That would be yours. Do you like the colors?” – Jae Beom.
“Its lime green, oppa. Of course, yes. I love it very much.” – Hae Ji. Jae Beom smiled then he told the shop assistant to wrap it all and he’s ready to pay for it.
“Wait, oppa. I don’t get to choose two games?” – Hae Ji.
“That has been managed already. I picked 3 instead – Cooking Mama 3, Gardening Mama and of course Kingdom Heart: 358/2 Days.” – Jae Beom. Hae Ji’s very happy that she immediately hugged him. “You are welcome. Alright then, we’re all finish here. Let’s go home.”



Back at home, when they arrived, just as they’re about to stepped in, Taek Yeon came storming out while Chan Sung chased after him then followed by Woo Young and Nichkhun. Both Hae Ji and Jae Beom were in shocked.


“What’s going on?!!” – Jae Beom.
“Look for yourself in the living room.” – Nichkhun. Jae Beom and Hae Ji quickly went inside and they’re very shocked when they saw the living room was a messed.
“WHAT’S GOING ON HERE!!?” – Jae Beom.
“Oppa, what happened? It looked like tornado just hit the place.” – Hae Ji.
“Ask Taek Yeon. He knows the answer well.” – Nichkhun. Jae Beom quickly put down the game and went after Taek Yeon. Not long after he left with Nichkhun, small figure came out hiding from the sofa and made a cute little sound.
“Kitten?” – Hae Ji. The kitten slowly walked towards Hae Ji and wobbled all the way. When the kitten came closed, Hae Ji picked it up and cuddles her. “Woo, where did she come from? She is very cute.”
“Taek oppa found it and well yeah...the living room, he played with her and accidentally made the living room a disaster.” –Woo Young.
“He played or he wrestled?” – Hae Ji.
“Both...” – Woo Young.
“And why was Chan Sung angry and started to chase after Taek oppa when we came?” – Hae Ji.
“Because he fed the kitten with the banana that Chan Sung kept.” – Woo Young.
“Oh great, that proves his intelligences. I hope this little kitten didn’t go blackout after eat that banana.” – Hae Ji. She continued; “I wonder is oppa let us keep her.”
“Hyeong would be flip. He doesn’t like any animal in the house except the nonliving one.” – Woo Young.



Few minutes later, the others returned from their so called marathon around the outside ground and when Taek Yeon entered the house, he scrubbed his sore head. When Jae Beom saw a kitten licking milk inside a bowl near the kitchen, he went ballistic and the kitten ran towards Hae Ji terrified.


“Oppa, you scared the kitten.” – Hae Ji.
“Taek!! Is that your friend?!!” – Jae Beom.
“Yes, I found her wandered around our place so I took her in.” – Taek Yeon.
“As far as you know this place is not a shelter for animal or zoo!! Take that kitten away or find her a home as long as it is not here!!” – Jae Beom. He knew and when Hae Ji’s about to say something, he cut it. “And no to the favor you wanted to ask as well Hae Ji, no and that means no!!”
“Oppa is on his cranky mode.” – Hae Ji.
“You!! Finish it today and I don’t want to see that kitten around here no more.” – Jae Beom.
“Gi Heung loves cat. Maybe she wants to have one.” – Hae Ji.
“Can we ask her to come here?” – Woo Young.
“I’ll call her then.” – Hae Ji. She ran upstairs to her room then not long after that, Jun Ho and Jun Su arrived home.
“Ahh...That must be them.” – Chan Sung.
“Anyone would tell me where those two went?” – Jae Beom.
“I’m unsure of that hyeong, why don’t you ask them? They just left the place without telling us.” – Nichkhun.



When Jun Ho and Jun Su stepped inside, Jae Beom threw a magazine and Jun Ho managed to duck while the magazine hit straight to Jun Su head. He fell down to the floor before he can say anything. Jun Ho looked at Jun Su and he already went blackout. He turned around and saw Jae Beom angry face.


“Ehh...hyeong?” – Jun Ho.
“Where did you two went?” – Jae Beom. Chan Sung from behind poked his head over Jae Beom shoulders.
“Wow hyeong, Jun Su hyeong is K.O. You should be one of the characters in Mortal Kombat and do the fatality.” – Chan Sung.
“I bet he’ll be furious when he wakes up later.” – Taek Yeon.
“The question is; will he still be alive?” – Chan Sung, he laughed.
“Hyeong, did you purposely throw the magazine?” – Jun Ho.
“It meant to hit your big head as well.” – Jae Beom. He continued; “Now, answer my question.”
“We went off to buy something.” – Jun Ho. All of them stop talking when they heard footsteps running down the stairs and when the sounds getting closer, it stopped when they saw Hae Ji tripped on Jun Su body and fell on top of him.
“Are you alright?!!” – Jun Ho. They all could hear Jun Su groaned the seconds Hae Ji fell on him.
“What in the world is his body doing on the floor?” – Hae Ji.
“The question is what were you doing running down the stairs?” – Jae Beom.
“Well I was in a rushed because I thought Gi Heung would be here but then she isn’t.” – Hae Ji. She turned around and looked closely at Jun Su face. “Hey oppa, what is he doing lying on the floor?”
“Jae hyeong fault.” – All of them at once.
“Ehh...!!? Oppa, did you do something that made him lying on the floor?” – Hae Ji, slowly she stood up and brushed off the dirt off her clothes. Slowly she glanced at Jun Su. “Is he still alive?” Chan Sung laughed all over from the living room. Jae Beom started to poke Jun Su with a stick and Jun Su still moving.
“Well that answers your question.” – Jae Beom.
“Oppa!! That’s not nice.” – Hae Ji, she sighed then walked off to the living room and throws herself on the sofa beside Chan Sung. When she turned her head to the right, out of the blue Chan Sung kissed her cheeks then ran off like an innocent person. Her eyes became widened and looked very angry.
“CHAN SUNG YOU NO GOOD BANANA!!” – Hae Ji, furious.



Chan Sung ran off from the living room and when he’s about to open the front door, it opened by someone and hit his head so hard that he moved backward and eventually tripped on Jun Su and fell down on top of him. This time Jun Su waken up fully after Chan Sung landed on him, he pushed him away and stood up.


“You goof!!” – Jun Su.
“You finally woke up.” – Jun Ho.
“Jae hyeong, what’s the big idea?!!” – Jun Su. Jae Beom just whistled away.
“I guess he still remembers.” – Taek Yeon.
“Excuse me you guys but Chan Sung there....” – Gi Heung.
“Don’t mind that walking piece of banana. Gi Heung-ahh, you finally came.” – Hae Ji.
“But I accidentally hit him with the door.” – Gi Heung.
“No, it’s okay Gi Heung. He will eventually wake up.” – Taek Yeon.
“Ahh, Hae Ji.” – Gi Heung.
“Oh right, I nearly forgot the main point.” – Hae Ji. Then she started to call the kitten out and slowly she came wobbled her way towards them. When she’s closer enough, Hae Ji lift her up and gave it to Gi Heung. “Jae oppa don’t want any animal to be in the house. And I thought you’re an animal lover would love to take him home.”
“I really do love cat especially.” – Gi Heung, she smiled when she looked at the kitten. “Well, okay then. I’ll take care of her.”
“Thank you so much, Gi Heung. You are a life saver.” – Hae Ji. Gi Heung.
“No, don’t worry. And you are always welcome.” – Gi Heung.

One day, when Hae Ji and Taek Yeon alone by themselves just the two of them at home while the others went out, both of them laid down on the floor staring at the ceiling in the living room. It was silent until someone breaks it up.


“If you had been given another name, what would it be?” – Taek Yeon.
“....Ashe.” – Hae Ji, she paused for a moment. “I would love to have myself name as Ashe.”
“....I always wondered if I have an American name, I wondered if I live there instead, I wonder...if everything changes.” – Taek Yeon. He continued as he breathes slowly. “I wonder what will happen to my life.”
“Everything would be different....everything, just everything.” – Hae Ji.
“....I wonder if we would ever meet. I wonder....” – Taek Yeon, he stopped and went back to silent.
“What did you wonder?” – Hae Ji.
“I just.....” – Taek Yeon.
