Part 31



“I just.....” – Taek Yeon.
“........” – Hae Ji, she stood up all of sudden and when she’s about to move, Taek Yeon opened his mouth.
“I wonder if that I would ever meet you and be who I am now.” – Taek Yeon, he rolled his eyes on Hae Ji expecting an answer from her.
“I don’t know, I wonder.” – Hae Ji, she walked off and headed outside. But before she left, she turned around and saw Taek Yeon.
“Where are you going?” – Taek Yeon.
“Somewhere....please, don’t come with me.” – Hae Ji. She closed the front door and left the place. Taek Yeon sighed heavily.
“Don’t leave me. I don’t want to be alone.” – Taek Yeon, he mumbled to himself.



At the city, Hae Ji alone by herself roaming without destination or places for her to go. She kept on walking and moved forward clueless and she seems to be zoned out as well. Until she stopped at the coffee shop, she looked around as she surveyed the customers that were enjoying their daily life doing nothing – except talking with friends.
Hae Ji sighed then she kept moving. But not long after she stopped when ahead of her stood 3 girls looking straight to her. At first she thought they’re waiting for someone else so she continued moving but one of them grabbed her and pushed her back.


“Wait, where are you going?” – Girl 01.
“Excuse me, but do I know you?” – Hae Ji.
“You don’t know us but we know who you are exactly.” – Girl 02.
“Ehh?” – Hae Ji.
“You are that girl that is always with those 2PM boys.” – Girl 03.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” – Hae Ji.
“Don’t play innocent on us; we know who you are so there is no heck way for you to false at us.” – Girl 02. Hae Ji rolled her eyes then she turned around and walked on the same way where she’s came from. One of the girls ran forward and blocked Hae Ji way. She turned her head and glared at them.
“Seriously, what do you want?” – Hae Ji.
“Nothing particular.” – Girl 01. She paced forward and when she’s much closed to Hae Ji, she tilted her head aside and grinned. “Tell us what your business with those 2PM boys is if you wanted to stay alive?”
“Is that a dead thread you’re given to me?” – Hae Ji. All of sudden, girl 02 took a knife out and slit the blade on Hae Ji left wrist and arm when she wasn’t aware. Bloods dripped down and made Hae Ji clothes stained with a bloods but she seems doesn’t care at all. “Slit my arms nor my wrist wouldn’t do anything and it wouldn’t affect anything on me.”



Right before Hae Ji’s about to do anything, Doo Joon whom happened to pass by saw everything. Quickly he ran towards them and grabbed Hae Ji before anything worst happened. Immediately he brought her to the hospital and after got bandages around her left arm and wrist, she still wouldn’t speak off anything. By that second, Hae Ji looked more like a living doll instead.


“Hae Ji, what’s wrong?” – Doo Joon.
“...Joon...” – Hae Ji, just one word came out from her mouth then there was nothing. Couples of minutes later, Taek Yeon came and when he saw Hae Ji, he ran towards her and hugged her closed to her.
“Seeing you’re here now, well I make my move on. I meant it, take good care of her; she is very precious to me as much as to Jae Beom.” – Doo Joon, he tapped Taek Yeon shoulders and left.
“Let’s go home.” – Taek Yeon. But Hae Ji didn’t move at all. She raised her head above and looked at him.
“....I wonder.....” – Hae Ji. Taek Yeon lowered his body and squatted down in front of Hae Ji while holding both of her hands.
“Please....” – Taek Yeon, worried tone. Slowly Hae Ji took her hand away from Taek Yeon then she touched his right cheeks. “This hurt me so much.” Slowly he moved his hand towards Hae Ji face and rubbed it with his thumb gently. “I love you, I love you so much. But you never realized of it. I tried to make you realized but every time, in yours eyes are only Jun Ho. Why couldn’t you look at me, just for a little bit?” He’s surprised that Hae Ji leaned forward and kissed his forehead.
“Thank you so much for loving me. But it will take time for me to love you.” – Hae Ji.
“I will wait....until now, I have been waiting for you. But I will, I will always wait for you.” – Taek Yeon. Hae Ji slowly hold him closed to her.

At 2PM place –

As usual Chan Sung and Taek Yeon ran around the house acting like 5 years old little boy and Jae Beom didn’t stop them this time and let them do whatever they wanted. Woo Young and Jun Su being very loud in the game room playing Cooking Mama on the Nintendo WII while Nichkhun reading a novel and left for Jun Ho with his minihompy.


“Aren’t you bored, Jun Ho?” – Jae Beom. He shakes his head. “What are you doing exactly?” He shrugged his shoulders. “You are an idiot.” Jun Ho nodded. Jae Beom laughed then Hae Ji came and she poked her head over his shoulders from behind.
“Oppa, you’re mean.” – Hae Ji.
“Just look at him, his eyes glued on the laptop screen.” – Jae Beom. Then he turned his head around and looked at Hae Ji. “Something the matter?”
“Ahh...hmm, nothing really.” – Hae Ji.
“No, that’s not a “nothing really” expression on your face. I know there is something.” – Jae Beom.
“Annie coming over.” – Hae Ji, unhappy tone.
“What?!! That human is the least thing I wanted to see. Why didn’t you tell me this before?” – Jae Beom.
“That before was like now – she just told me and how possible could I know if she told me late!!?” – Hae Ji. Jae Beom groaned.
“Disaster!!” – Jae Beom.
“Well...” – Hae Ji. She continued; “The best part is she’s staying in hotel.”
“That woman is crazy!! Make sure she stays away from me, ever!!” – Jae Beom.
“Oppa, I’m not going to waste my whole time on making her stay away from you. I have better thing to do.” – Hae Ji.
“Why don’t you just hide and well come out after she left?” – Nichkhun.
“Now where am I going to hide?” – Jae Beom.
“Jun Ho’s old place of course. She didn’t know that place. So...you’re safe.” – Hae Ji.
“But still, make that lunatic woman stay away from me.” – Jae Beom.
“He called her lunatic, aren’t you mad, Hae Ji?” – Nichkhun.
“Not really. Well because she is one.” – Hae Ji.
“No wonder the brains think the same.” – Nichkhun, mumbled to himself while facing the magazine.
“What was that Khun?” – Jae Beom.
“I didn’t say anything, hyeong. It was just your hearing.” – Nichkhun.
“I better go now. I swear I had this shiver feeling that lunatic woman is near.” – Jae Beom. When he’s about to open the door, the door already opened by itself where it made Jae Beom jumped backward.
“JAY!!” – Annie. Jae Beom eyes became widen when she jumped and hugged him.
“Too late.” – Nichkhun, mumbled to himself again.
“Why you, let go off me!! Stay away from me you lunatic person!!” – Jae Beom, he tried to get himself away from Annie but she grasped him too tight.
“Jay!! I missed you...” – Annie, scrubbing her face on Jae Beom face.
“Hae Ji, make her stop!!” – Jae Beom. Just as Hae Ji about to help her brother out, Annie ran off towards the one that stood in front of the door.
“Guys, this is my friend from nursery. We grew up together but didn’t go to the same high school. This is Jesa.” – Annie. Everyone that’s in the living room turned their head around and looked at the girl name Jesa. She slowly bowed down at them. Quickly Hae Ji grabbed Annie and pulled her to the kitchen.


“Who ask you to bring her here?” – Hae Ji, angry tone.
“I don’t know, Hae Ji. Maybe because she’s my friend? Beside, she likes 2PM very much. Guess who her favorites are?” – Annie.
“As you aware of that, it’s not my interest to guess it.” – Hae Ji. Annie smirked.
“Taek Yeon and Jun Ho!!” – Annie, cheerful loud tone. She continued in her normal tone; “But you know what, the time being we stayed here, she can cook for us. Her father is the most well known high class chef in France. So...she has her father genuine cooking skills bloods in her and as well as inherits her father place soon. And she can cook lots of delicious A++ meal or pastries or whatever you desire.”
“I can cook for the boys myself. You don’t have to bring her here.” – Hae Ji.
“Beside, she’s very pretty and has half France half Korean bloods. You can see in her face already.” – Annie.
“Honestly...I don’t care.” – Hae Ji. Annie scooted closer to Hae Ji.
“Beside, do you think she have a chance between those two? You don’t mind, do you?” – Annie.
“Whatever.” – Hae Ji.



In the living room, everyone was there staring at Jesa, making her to feel awkward that 7 pairs of eyes on her. But she kept smiling. When Hae Ji and Annie showed up from the kitchen, Jae Beom looked at them and he gave signal to Hae Ji. While Jae Beom and Hae Ji went to somewhere else, Annie sat down beside Jesa.


“So...you can cook? Anything?” – Chan Sung.
“Chan Sung!!” – Taek Yeon.
“Yes, I can cook anything.” – Jesa.
“Can you do it now? Well I just wanted to know if what you said was true, well I want to taste it.” – Chan Sung.
“Ahh, I may?” – Jesa. Chan Sung nodded then he slowly stood up and brought Jesa to the kitchen.
“I’ll sit here and wait until you’re done.” – Chan Sung. Jesa just nodded then she started to cook.
“Isn’t she’s great?” – Annie.
“So you are Hae Ji best friend from the State?” – Nichkhun. Annie nodded.
“Since she left for Korea, Jesa came.” – Annie.



Meanwhile –


“What’s that?!!” – Jae Beom. Hae Ji shrugged.
“Oppa...I don’t know either.” – Hae Ji.
“I mean, what’s the big idea she brought an outsider? Wait, she’s included as outsider as well.” – Jae Beom.
“Oppa, seriously, I don’t know.” – Hae Ji. Jae Beom sighed then he rubbed her head.
“Hang in there, Hae Ji.” – Jae Beom.
“Oppa...I have a bad feelings about this.” – Hae Ji.



All of sudden, they smelt something that could bring them to heaven. Quickly they ran downstairs and headed to the kitchen and found out Jesa made something. Chan Sung turned around facing their ways when they showed up. He quickly got up and approached Hae Ji.


“You are still my favorites.” – Chan Sung, whispered to her then went off to the living room.
“Jesa cooked!!” – Annie, she ran to the kitchen and Jesa smiled when Annie showed up.
“Annie, please have some.” – Jesa.
“Wah, you did all these?” – Annie. Jesa nodded. Jae Beom left and went to the living room and threw his body on the sofa. Then Hae Ji came from behind.
“You guys, don’t you want to try what she made?” – Hae Ji. None speak nor respond. “Guys....” Still they just stayed quiet. “Chan Sung?”
“Sorry Hae Ji. I made her do those but....I lost my appetites.” – Chan Sung. He continued; “I don’t want to try it, who knows what will happen.”
“Chan Sung....Go, Chan Sung.” – Hae Ji.
“Come with me?” – Chan Sung.
“Fine, come let’s go to the kitchen.” – Hae Ji.



When Hae Ji and Chan Sung entered the kitchen, the seconds Jesa saw Hae Ji and Chan Sung, she paced towards them and grabbed their hands pulling them to the kitchen counter table.


“Please, try this crème filling bread I made.” – Jesa. Chan Sung and Hae Ji slowly grabbed one each. When put it into their mouth, Chan Sung eyes became huge. “What do you think?” Chan Sung looked at Jesa speechless then he turned around and looked at Hae Ji. “Do you like it?”
“....Ahh....” – Chan Sung, speechless.
“I got to go.” – Hae Ji. She left the kitchen then followed by Chan Sung.
“Where are you going?” – Hae Ji.
“To meet someone, to thanks for the others day.” – Hae Ji.
“Do you want me to tag along?” – Chan Sung. Hae Ji smiled. “I’ll go get my sweater and hat.”


“I don’t know....they seem to dislikes me.” – Jesa.
“Don’t say like that, of course they like you.” – Annie.
“But I can see that through their faces.” – Jesa.

Somewhere in the city, Chan Sung and Hae Ji waiting for someone at the small coffee shop where Hae Ji used to go whenever they met. None know the place since it not located in the crowed place. While waiting for that person, one of the waiters there approached them with their drinks.


“Ms Park. It has been awhile you haven’t come here.” – Waiter.
“Ken...hello there.” – Hae Ji.
“You usually came with him but today you come with Mr Hwang here.” – Waiter. Chan Sung shocked that the waiter knew who he was even when he wore disguised.
“Well, yes Ken. But we don’t come together today. He’ll be here soon.” – Hae Ji.
“I see. Well Ms Park, it’s nice to see you here again.” – Waiter; Ken. Then he left and continued his work.
“Hae Ji-ahh, what in the world...how did he knew?” – Chan Sung, still in shocked.
“Of course he knew. Well this place, of course is where the other artist always come to hang out without worried being notice.” – Hae Ji.
“So this place is safe?” – Chan Sung.
“Look around, did you notice?” – Hae Ji. Chan Sung looked around and his eyes became huge.
“Ahh...” – Hae Ji. She continued; “He’s here...”
